Therapid-growingdeathtollofAIDSvictimshasposedawidespreadpanicacrosstheStatesfromgaybarsinthewestcostofCaliforniatotheFunCity'sred-lightdistricts.
如:brunch(breakfast+lunch)早午餐;telecast(television+broadcast)廣播電視。
TheSecondWorldWarwasanotherhugeVolkermanderung,itwasaccompaniedbyavastdislocationofpeople.
例如:PopetoVisitJapaninFebruary=PopeistovisitJapaninFebruary教皇擬于二月訪日。
例如:BillGatesWorkingonaNewBook=BillGatesisworkingonanewbook比爾·蓋茨撰寫新書科技先鋒展望未來。3.
ButCartertoldreporters,theUnitedStateswillcontinuetherestraintsitimposedonIranwhenthehostagesweretaken150daysago……Hemadeitclear,however,thatthefreezingofIranianassetsandmonitoringofIranianstudentsinthiscountrywouldcontinue.Wewillcontinuetomonitorthesituationveryclosely,“Cartersaid”.
SaysDaryReadingofGowrie:“Itmakesyoumad,Wearegoodatwhatwedo,butwestillcan'tmakealiving.”
A:“500ReportedKilledinS.KoreanBuildingCollapse”
B:“Buildingcollapseclaims500livesinS.Korea”
AretheDemocratDinosaurs?
Wherethere'ssmoke,there'scash(TheEconomist,1996)
TheplanwouldalsoallowsouthernstatessuchasSpain,GreeceandPortugal,whoseeconomiesaremostreliantontourism,tomakebilateralarrangementswithnon-EUmembers–includingBritain–providingthedealsareapprovedbythecommission."Weaimtohelpmemberstatesreinstatethefreedomofmovementinasafe,responsibleandtrustedmanner,”theEuropeancommissionpresident,UrsulavonderLeyen,saidastheschemewasunveiledonWednesday,whichwasactivelypromotedbysouthernEuropeanholidaydestinationswhoseeconomieshavebeendevastatedbythepandemic.Thedigitaldocument,containingaQRcodeandcarriedonamobilephone,hasdeliberatelynotbeencalleda"vaccinepassport"becausesomememberstatesfeltthatwoulddiscriminateagainstthosewhohadnotyetbeenofferedashot.Thecertificateis"notapassport...butadocumentthatwilldescribethemedicalsituationoftheindividualswhoholdit",thecommissionspokesman,EricMamer,said.Thecertificate,shouldmeantravellerswillnotneedtoquarantine(檢疫,隔離)wouldbeavailabletoallcitizenswhocanprovideevidencethattheyhaveeitherbeenvaccinatedagainstCovid-19,haverecentlytestednegative,orhaveacquiredantibodiesafterrecoveringfromthevirus.TheEUaimstovaccinatethree-quartersofitsadultpopulationbytheendofsummerandofficialsremainhopefulthatifnationaldeliveryspeedsup,manyrestrictionscouldbeliftedintimefortheholidays.1.Whatdoestheunderlinedword“reinstate”inparagraph2referto?A.Recover.
