爆破音是在發(fā)音過(guò)程中發(fā)音部位在口腔內(nèi)形成阻礙,然后氣流沖破阻礙而發(fā)出的聲音。但是爆破音在某些情況下只形成阻礙而不爆破,即氣流并未沖破阻礙,這種現(xiàn)象叫失去爆破。失去爆破可能發(fā)生在單詞內(nèi)部或者單詞之間。
