12、于動作或行為的結(jié)果,多指經(jīng)主觀努力,克服各種困難后才終于達(dá)到目的,與at last同義,但in the end不僅可指“過去”還可表示對“未來”的預(yù)計,常與at last換用,都可用于對往事的描述,但finally不帶感情色彩,指一系列事情的最后結(jié)局,2. What if 1) 表示提出假設(shè),意為“_ 其后句子可用陳述語氣(一般現(xiàn)在時),也可用虛擬語氣(用一般過去時或should +動詞原形) e.g. What if it rains when we cant get under shelter? _ What if I came tomorrow instead of this afternoon? _ 2) 表示邀請或建議,意為“_” e.g. What if you join us for lunch? _ What if we moved the sofa over there?
