Keep calm, especially when you are with other people. keep 表示“保持”, calm 表示“冷靜,沉著”。 keep calm 是系動(dòng)詞 + 形容詞構(gòu)成的動(dòng)詞短語。其他的行為動(dòng)詞還能做系動(dòng)詞的有:become, feel, look, seem 等。 e.g. Everybody became quiet. He looked a little nervous. 4. Be brave and be helpful. helpful用作形容詞,意為“有用的;有幫助的”,可放在名詞前作定語,也可放在be動(dòng)詞后作表語。短語be helpful to sb.意為“對某人有幫助”;句型Its helpful for sb. to do sth.意為“對某人來說做某事是有幫助的”。如: What do you think is the most helpful invention? All my neighbors are kind and helpful. This book is really helpful to me.
