Go for it!七年級(jí)下冊(cè)Unit 5 Why do you like pandas?Period 1 Section A (1a1c)教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)海南省澄邁縣永發(fā)初級(jí)中學(xué) 曾德暖一、教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析本單元的中心話題是“Describe animals and express preferences”(描述動(dòng)物和表達(dá)個(gè)人喜好)。主要是通過學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)物名稱和常見的有關(guān)描述動(dòng)物的形容詞,學(xué)會(huì)表達(dá)個(gè)人對(duì)動(dòng)物的喜好;學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用why, what, where引導(dǎo)的問句,了解動(dòng)物的外形、生活習(xí)性及主要產(chǎn)地,并能運(yùn)用英語簡(jiǎn)單描述自己喜歡的動(dòng)物,進(jìn)一步培養(yǎng)和激發(fā)熱愛動(dòng)物、保護(hù)動(dòng)物、維護(hù)生態(tài)平衡的樸素情懷。本節(jié)課是本單元的第一課時(shí),主要學(xué)習(xí)一些動(dòng)物名稱的名詞和描寫動(dòng)物特征的形容詞,學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用所學(xué)詞匯和句型描述動(dòng)物,表達(dá)個(gè)人喜好并陳述原因。二、學(xué)情分析大多數(shù)學(xué)生來自農(nóng)村,他們?cè)谛W(xué)階段沒有學(xué)習(xí)過英語,而是從七年級(jí)才開始學(xué)習(xí),起點(diǎn)低,底子薄,但是學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣濃,對(duì)于學(xué)習(xí)英語,他們既感到好奇,又擔(dān)憂,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此,在教學(xué)中,我創(chuàng)設(shè)有效的情境,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生積極參與課堂活動(dòng),敢于開口說英語,讓學(xué)生體驗(yàn)到成功的喜悅,增強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)的信心。三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)知識(shí)目標(biāo)1. 掌握表示動(dòng)物的名詞和描寫動(dòng)物特征的形容詞:panda, zoo, tiger, elephant, koala, lion, giraffe, animal, cute, lazy, smart, beautiful。 2. 學(xué)習(xí)表達(dá)理由的句子:-Why do you want to see them?-Because theyre cute/ beautiful/interesting.能力目標(biāo)1. 能用所學(xué)語言描述動(dòng)物的基本特征。2. 能夠談?wù)撟约合埠玫膭?dòng)物并陳述原因。情感目標(biāo)通過讓學(xué)生描述動(dòng)物的基本特征和談?wù)撟约合埠玫膭?dòng)物并陳述原因,來激勵(lì)學(xué)生愛護(hù)動(dòng)物,了解自然,進(jìn)而學(xué)會(huì)保護(hù)動(dòng)物,關(guān)心他人,體會(huì)到保護(hù)環(huán)境的重要性。教學(xué)重點(diǎn) 表示動(dòng)物的名詞和描寫動(dòng)物特征的形容詞。教學(xué)難點(diǎn) 學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用Why提問原因,用because表達(dá)理由。三、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備T: A tape recorder,PPT Ss: 搜索有關(guān)動(dòng)物的圖片四、教學(xué)過程Step 1 Greetings and warming up T: Do you like listening to music? Lets listen to a song and tell me what it is about. Step 2 PresentationT: Whats the song about?Ss: .T: Do you like animals? Can you tell me some?T: Where do animals usually live?Step 3Present the new words1. T: Today we are going to learn the names of animals. Well also learn how to say which ones we like and tell why we like them. (point to a panda) Whats this? Its a panda, panda. Ss repeat “panda”.2. T: What are these? They are pandas. Ss repeat “pandas”. (Teach “ tigers, elephants, koalas, lions, giraffes” in the same way.)Step 4 Practice the new words.Play a game. 用“看圖猜詞”的游戲操練所學(xué)的單詞。Step 5 Match the words with the animals in the picture.(1a)Give Ss about two minutes to finish 1a and then check the answers.Step 6 Present the new drillsT:Do you know the animals well? I often go to the zoo because there are so many lovely animals in it. I like to see the pandas. Do you know why?Ss:I like to see the pandas because they are cute. “cute” means “可愛的,機(jī)靈的”. Read after me, cute.
