2、e blackboardWell, firstly, Ill talk about Part 1 Analysis of teaching materialThe teaching material I choose to illustrate is grade 4 unit5 Part B lets talk in the PEP Primary English Students Book . This unit introduces and develops the theme of “shopping”, Students are expected to master the new w

3、ord sneakers and use the sentence patterns in proper situation, such as “What size?” “How much are they?” ”Well take them.” By study of this unit, the students know how to ask the price in English and how to describe the size and price with simple words and sentences. Then Ill talk about next part A

4、nalysis of the studentsIt is known to us that the kids are very active and like playing games very much, so during my class, Ill design some interesting games to activate them to participate and learn something. They will also be interested in the class.Next Ill talk about Analysis of the Teaching A

5、imsI put forward the teaching objectives according to the New English Lesson Standard.1. Reception objectivea) Students can hear, read and use the main sentence patterns. “A pair of for” “ How much are they?”b) Students can understand and read the conversation. 2. 8、ooperation.Lets move on to another part Teaching methodsThis part I will use some pictures, cards and body language to help them get a better understanding of the content to achieve the aims.The Task-based teaching method, Communicative teaching method and Group cooperation teaching method will be u

9、sed in this period.Now Ill talk about most important part Teaching procedureIt consists of 5 steps :Step 1 Lead-inI will play an English song for Students and have a free talk related to this period with them. it can attract Students attention and make them feel satisfied. Step 2 Presentation1.Befor

10、e I present the dialogue, Ill create a real situation for Students to speak English freely. This task will arouse Students interest and encourage them to ask questions with new knowledge.2. At this time, Play the recorder , let the students concentrate on listening, then,answer my question according

11、 to the dialogue. Students are expected to answer some questions related to the new words. In this way, new words are taught.Meanwhile, Ill write down the sentence patterns on the blackboard. Students need to practice the new words and sentences in different ways.Step 3 PracticeIll ask the students

12、to listen to the tape and encourage them to imitate to read and say. Ill Guide them pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. It can train Students abilities of listening Step 4 ConsolidationI will classify the class into four groups and then I will read the dialogue. During my reading, Ill

13、 misread three words on purpose. After my reading, the students are asked to point out my mistakes. The group who answers right will get a star.Step 5 ExtensionIn this part, Ill encourage Students to use what they have learnt in class to communicate with each other in real life.
