All the languages and activities are designed to serve it. The reading passage is a description of highlights of senior year from an American girl . A

2、ccording to the reading passage, students can learn the wonderful moments and successes in the senior year.Also from this part, students can improve their reading skills, such as skimming to get the main idea,scanning to get some important details, discussing to have a further understanding of the t

3、ext, andinterviewing to retell the text in their own words.學(xué)情分析:The students are from Grade Three. They have already mastered many knowledge points and known how to express the school life . And they have also had some reading skills. However, some students dont know how to learn efficiently. And th

4、ey also feel it difficult to express what they think in English. So they need more practice to improve their reading and speaking ability.課堂設(shè)計(jì)理念:普通高中英語(yǔ)新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)(2017 年版)中提出,發(fā)展學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)是普通高中英語(yǔ)課程的具體目標(biāo),這是以人為本教育理念在學(xué)科層面的重要體現(xiàn)。普通高中英語(yǔ)課程的育人價(jià)值是通過(guò)具體的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程逐步實(shí)現(xiàn)的。在這個(gè)過(guò)程中,學(xué)生基于具體的主題及語(yǔ)篇,主動(dòng)參與語(yǔ)言實(shí)踐 活動(dòng),運(yùn)用各種學(xué)習(xí)策略,學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)篇呈現(xiàn)的語(yǔ)言和

Prom night has come andgone , and I

19、ve received my high school diploma at last. Its a good thing that the exams arefinished. I feel too excited to think clearly! It seems strange to think that in a few days time Ill be walking out of the school gates forever. The first thing Im going to do is to take a long vacation!Meanwhile , I find

20、 myself looking back at my senior year, and thinking about all the wonderful things that have happened. Ive decided to write them down so that one day ,yearsfrom now, when I reread them,the memories will come back.Theres so much to remember. One of the best things about this year has been working as

21、 an arts editor for this newspaper. Ive so enjoyed it! I love writing,and working on this paper is myfirst step towards becoming a journalist,so this has been a real success for me.Something else Ive greatly enjoyed is working as a peer mediator, someone who helps students to settle problems that th

22、ey have with other students. At the start of the school year,wewere given training in how to do this,and its clear that this kind of work can really help people.I think Ill continue to work as a mediator when I go to college.During the Easter vacation, I went on a short school skiing trip to the Roc

23、ky Mountains. Ive been skiing quite a few times, but never with the school, and since two good friends came on the trip, we had great fun racing each other down the ski slopes. Its well-known that Americans are competitive, and I did enjoy it whenever I won our races!Other things Im pleased about ge

24、tting good grades on my final exams, and receiving the senior prize for English Literature. I was given a car by my parents so Ive been able to drive to school, which is brilliant. And of course, Ill never forget being elected to the student council. I really enjoyed meeting the teachers and telling

25、 them how we, the students, feel about things and what we think should happen in the school!All these things have been wonderful. But I have to say, the highlight of the year was the senior prom. For an American girl, its so important that you have a good time at the prom. Well, I did! Daniel, a boy

26、 in my English class, asked me to go to the prom with him, and I was so pleasedId been hoping he would ask me. I found a dress that suited me perfectly, and had my hair specially done on the day of the prom. It took two hours but it was worth it, as everyone told me I looked very elegant! A group of

27、 us rented a nice car to take us to the prom. The food was delicious and I ate so much that I had to stop dancing for a while! We shared a table with some good friends, and laughed and told jokes all evening. Its a great pity that its probably the last time this will happen.Daniel and I danced most

28、of the dances together. But the big surprise of the evening was when I was elected prom queen! This was so unexpected, and I cant tell you how good this made me feel! After the prom, a group of us drove down to the coast, and sat on the beach in our long dresses and dinner jackets. I shall never for

29、get watching the sunrise over the seait was unforgettable!
