2、 am along way from my preconceived path and, not long ago, i saw this deviation as afailure. now i understand the variances in my course as a discovery of where mytrue brilliance resides, and it has been the people along the way who havehelped me shape this journey. as a graduate graphic design stud

3、ent at theschool, my expectation is to encounter more individuals who will contribute tomy potential. my original direction was towards illustration and i built a greatfoundation from my undergraduate education, thanks to illustrators _ and _and letterpress guru _. my attraction to pieces from the a

4、rts crafts andart nouveau movements and native cultures began to translate into my art. initaly, i had the extraordinary opportunity to see the work of illustrators fromaround the world at the bologna childrens book fair. six months after receivingmy bfa, i took an intensive weeklong trip to new yor

5、k city, full ofinformational meetings, portfolio drop-offs, and even an interview with _. bythe end of my visit, i was confident that i would soon be living in new york asan illustrator. i returned to _ only to find my family broken by miscommunication andmistrust. it was difficult to concentrate on

6、 my own pursuits and by january, ijust wanted to find work outside the house so i could regain focus. thepart-time jobs i would soon acquire proved to be invaluable experiences. as asales person at _, i rekindled my fondness for handmade art and was evenencouraged by the manager, _, to teach classes

7、. my job at _ became my firststride into professional design. presentations director _, supportive of mybackground in illustration, ensured that i received projects that utilized mytalents and improved my skills. at the end of 2021, i moved more towards graphic design as i accepted aposition at _. i

8、n such a rigorous studio environment, i have been pushed tothe next level as a visual communicator. i have been trusted to conceptualizeand execute the advertisements, promotions, and website for the citywide _event two years in a row. in addition, i have worked on smaller projects likethe corporate

9、 identity for _, which required comprehensive research of theclients native culture and business in order to deduce a successfulrepresentation of the company. all the while, the design director, _, and myco-workers have helped me become proficient in all aspects of advertising andmarketing design. a

10、ll these personal interactions and experiencesthe delightful and thepainfulhave brought me to the next step: advanced studies in graphic design. myinitial hope is to expand on explorations of art, design, and crafts, ultimatelydeveloping a style that is more in tune with my worldviews. i know that a

11、t theschool i will receive an education tailored to my interesti can mesh designwith printmaking and other art forms. with the faculty headed by director 1and director 2, i expect to be enlightened by avant-garde graphic design andinnovative typography. in particular, i look forward to learning from

12、professor: i associate with her sense of design and want to hear more abouther involvement in design education. additionally, the school attracts some of the most talented and ferventartists in the world, as students and as visiting faculty, and i am excited tomeet them and make connections within t

13、he design field. coupled with thesurrounding communities of the city, the individuals will create a diverseatmosphere where i can learn to mold my designs to reach broader audiences. most important to me is paying it forward: i believe it is pivotal to takeall that i have gained and use them to help

14、 the next generation of designers. icould not ask for a better opportunity to do so than through the communityprogram at the school. i am thrilled by the prospect of helping youngerstudents uncover future goals while working towards my own. at the school, i look forward to being challenged: to be pr

15、essed toexplore new avenues as an artist, to create work that is relevant to theadvancement of the design field, and practice educating a young, diverse groupof up-and-coming artists. to me, all begins with people. yours sincerely, 荷蘭留學(xué)要預(yù)備好的行李 一、文件資料 不管是出境時(shí)還是辦證時(shí),大家的身份證件都是必需要出示的,留同學(xué)需要預(yù)備的,首先是自

16、己的護(hù)照和簽證,這些東西需要隨身攜帶,直到大家辦好了居留答應(yīng)。 此外還需要預(yù)備好大家申請荷蘭的高校時(shí),遞交的各類資料的原件,這些東西在大家辦理入學(xué)的時(shí)候,是需要進(jìn)展出示的,不過檢查確認(rèn)無誤之后,會(huì)歸還給同學(xué)。 二、 穿著服飾 新生出國,在預(yù)備衣服的時(shí)候,很有可能會(huì)陷入多預(yù)備幾件,多帶一點(diǎn),這樣就不用再在荷蘭買了的誤區(qū),但是其實(shí)大家抵達(dá)之后,還是會(huì)掌握不住購置欲的。 而且在國內(nèi)常見的快時(shí)尚品牌,荷蘭的售價(jià)會(huì)更廉價(jià),還會(huì)常常有折扣活動(dòng),大家沒有必要從國內(nèi)帶太多,建議大家預(yù)備兩三套,然后多帶一點(diǎn)貼身穿的內(nèi)衣褲即可。 三、電子產(chǎn)品 在電器方面,大局部的東西,荷蘭都是要比國內(nèi)賣得貴一些的,尤其是技術(shù)含量

17、比擬低的充電器、數(shù)據(jù)線、挪動(dòng)硬盤等,他們體積小,大家可以從國內(nèi)多帶一點(diǎn)以防萬一。 手機(jī)和電腦是肯定要帶的,自帶的系統(tǒng)用法起來會(huì)更加順手,當(dāng)然大家千萬別忘了帶上轉(zhuǎn)換插頭和多孔插座,有了他們,大家才可以正常用法從過帶過去的電器。 四、生活用品 包括床上用品,三件套不占地方可以帶上,棉絮被褥可以等到了之后再買;洗漱的用品,大家可以預(yù)備好便攜裝;戴眼鏡的同學(xué)肯定要多預(yù)備肌膚備用的,在荷蘭驗(yàn)光配鏡價(jià)格很貴。 最終就是藥品的預(yù)備,一般的同學(xué)需要帶好腸胃藥和感冒藥;假如需要長期吃藥,帶藥需要預(yù)備好醫(yī)生開的廚房,而且重量最長不可以超過半年。 荷蘭留學(xué)合租和獨(dú)居的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn) 一、合租 1.優(yōu)點(diǎn) 廉價(jià):在荷蘭的各大城市中,合租的租金2400-3600元不等,個(gè)別房子的房租會(huì)超過3600元,但是也會(huì)有比2400元廉價(jià)的房間,不過這樣的房子會(huì)小一些。 一般是擁有多個(gè)獨(dú)立臥房的帶客廳、廚衛(wèi)的套間,一個(gè)人擁有一間臥房,然后其他空間屬于公共區(qū)域,一般會(huì)有3-4人共同居住。 不會(huì)孤獨(dú):和其別人住在一起,溝通確定是少不了的,大家在這里的環(huán)境中,會(huì)程度上沖淡對家的思念,以及對生疏生活的抗拒,適應(yīng)起來會(huì)更快。 2.缺點(diǎn) 當(dāng)你想獨(dú)處的時(shí)候,有的室友會(huì)很煩人。而且,你必需與室友面對清潔房屋、避開噪音等問題。在合租公寓,3-4人共用一個(gè)浴室和衛(wèi)生間也不便利,每天早上,大家都
