Forget it . same direct ion語法:主要復習被動語態(tài)的用法,關于這一點在第63課的 語法學習”和 語法練習”中顯得更為突出。相比較而言,第63課“3 Grammar practice中的用被動語態(tài)改寫文章更有實用意義, 因為這項練習從根本上跳出了主動語態(tài)與被動語態(tài)相互轉(zhuǎn)換的機械性操練的圈子。事實上, 并不是所有句子都可以轉(zhuǎn)換成被動語態(tài),與此同時,有些句子用被動語態(tài)來表達更加符合具體文體的表達需要,
3、如說明文等。情態(tài)動詞的復習在本單元也占一席之地。在復習被動語態(tài)時注意總結那些以主動形式表示被動意義的動詞,并牢記住它們。書面表達:本單元要求學生學會用英文給對方寫回信,并有用英文與對方討論問題和提出自 己的看法、觀點的能力。教學建議1 . Lively,live,alive,livi ng 辨析:lively (adj .)意為活躍,有生氣;栩栩如生。如:He may be 80, but he' s still lively.他可能有八十歲,但仍然很有生氣。She has a lively mi nd .她的思維活躍。live (adj .)意為活的,活生生的;帶電的等,一般作定語。

Look at her.顯然不!看她。obvious (adj.)意為明顯,顯而易見。如:It is obvious that we must apply other methods.顯然我們必使用別的辦法。He was very obvious in his distrust of us.他很明顯不信任我們。5. gift是可數(shù)名詞,意為(天生的)才能,稟賦,詞組 have a gift for意為有的才能。 如:Mother has a gift
8、for mak ing guests feel at home. 母親有使客人覺得無拘無束的才能。 He has no gift for music. 他沒有音樂在才。gift還作 禮物,贈品"解,如:I am most grateful to you for your sple ndid gift.我非常感謝你送來美好的禮物。Officials are not allowed to receive gifts from the public.禁止官員接受公眾贈送的禮物。6. so (conj.)意為因此,所以,連接并列復合句,注意英語中用并列連詞so就不能用主從連詞because,
9、用了主從連詞 because,就不能用并列連詞so。如:Nobody seemed about, so I went in .附近似乎沒有人,所以我進去了。You' re not listening to me, so I ' ll shut up .你不聽我說,所以我就住口了。Because I have got a bad headache, I am not going to the concert.因為我頭疼得厲害,所以不打算聽音樂會。7. should + have +過去分詞結構,意思是本來應該如何如何,暗含事實并非如此的意思。如:What' s the m
10、atter? You should have received that letter ?你本應收到那圭寸信的。(事實上沒有收到信)You should have washed the wound. But you haven ' t.你本應洗一洗傷口,可你沒洗。 should n ot + have +過去分詞結構,意思是本來不應該做某事,而事實上已經(jīng)做了。如:You should not have said such a thing to him .你本不應該跟他講這樣的事。(事實上已經(jīng)講了)You should not have left college so early .你本
11、不應該這樣早就中斷大學學業(yè)。8. link , connect, join, combine , unite1) link聯(lián)接;聯(lián)系(指不同事物間的聯(lián)系)。常用be linked with與有聯(lián)系The in terest of his is lin ked with that of the cou ntry .他的利益同國家的利益聯(lián)系在一起。2) connect的語氣沒有 combine強,表一種事物與其他事物的關系。常用be connectedwith與相聯(lián)接。如:Some films combine education with recreation .有些電影能融教育于娛樂之中。3)
12、join連接(是指把分離的兩者連接在一起)。常用join up接好,joint把與相聯(lián)接。如:Please join the wries up .請把電線接好。4) unite聯(lián)合(強調(diào)二者組成一個整體以及把分散的部分統(tǒng)一起來)。如:Let ' s un ite aga inst the com mon en emy讓我們團結起來反對共同的敵人。9.
