1、 Section B教學(xué)設(shè)計Material analysis This class is the first period of Topic 1, Unit 4. The main activities are 1a and 2. Through the model rocket talked by Kangkang and&
2、#160;Jane in 1a, students will learn the grammar which is the passive voice in the simple past tense. At the same time, students can know much about the rocket&
3、#160;by focusing on the important sentence patterns, such as “What is it used for? ” “Its used for .” . In 1b, by listening to 1a, students listening skills
4、0;will be improved. In 1c, students can answer 4 questions to make themselves know 1a better. Students will do some practice in 2, which can help to do better
5、160;in the sentence patterns “be made of, be made from and be used for”. Teaching aims and demands 1. Knowledge objects After this class, Ss will be able
6、to: 1). learn to use some new words and expressions: rocket, metal, satellite, lock. 2). learn the following sentences: Its bad for your health if you spend

8、ips into space. I hope your dream will come true. 3) learn the grammar: the passive voice in the simple past tense. 4). know a lot about the invention and

20、;the students to find out the differences between “be made of” and “be made from” Offer some time to students to make up conversations (sweater/ wine) accordi
21、ng to the example. 3.Invention: time Present Hu Jintengs model camera and show the sentence : Hu Jinteng often makes model. Let students change the sentence into the
22、 one using the passive voice in the simple present tense.ask students to describe the time of the invention. Q1: When did he made the model camera? Then ask Hu&
23、#160;Jinteng ,“When did you made it?” to show the other sentence: He made a model camera in 2018. Encourage them to say the synonymous sentences by using the pa
24、ssive voice in the simple past tense. Show the table about the model camera and lead students to say out the sentences with the passive voice in the simple
25、;past tense.Get students to conclude the structure: was/were done. Guess riddles: What is it Ask some students to describe the cards according to the key information, and
26、 others guess. Teach the new word: satellite. Invention: material, time, country and usage. 4.Show the picture of Kangkang and Jane, and guide students to guess what
