23、惜這個月初借的五本書,我才看到第三本,而且已經(jīng)是第四次續(xù)借了。但續(xù)借很簡單,網(wǎng)上打開自己的借書單,按下續(xù)借就OK.今天在圖書館,又找到好幾本有用的書,貪心地都借上,準(zhǔn)備瀏覽一下,或許可以找到自己需要的東西。記得上次在牛津大學(xué)出版社,拿著幾本莎翁的作品和牛津字典,就愛不釋手,忍不住買了四本。礙于回國搬書不方便,只好就此打住。上周去布萊頓的一個書店,拿起一本杰克倫敦的荒野的呼喚,感覺書的質(zhì)量太好了,又輕巧又柔軟,更別提引人入勝的故事情節(jié)了,二話沒說,又買下了。 學(xué)校的圖書館,讀書和查找信息都非常方便,全是網(wǎng)絡(luò)化管理,更值得贊嘆的是館內(nèi)的安靜,在書架周圍有學(xué)習(xí)區(qū)域,有室內(nèi)的小組學(xué)習(xí)室,也有很多配備電

24、腦的個人學(xué)習(xí)桌,有隔離板,學(xué)生們都很自覺,從不在里面大聲交談,偶爾說話,都把聲音壓得很低很低。還有復(fù)印機,方便你復(fù)印學(xué)習(xí)資料,只有你在學(xué)生卡個人賬戶上 交5磅,就可以復(fù)印100張。 只要沒有其他安排,我何不在這里當(dāng)一只書蟲?在英語中盡情地啃食,吸收營養(yǎng)。Rye College世界另一端的校園 注重內(nèi)涵 當(dāng)走進(jìn)這個叫Rye的小鎮(zhèn),我們很快就在兩個中學(xué)生帶領(lǐng)下到了要參觀的中學(xué)。一位叫Ali 的校長助理熱情地與我們一行12人一一握手,告訴我們即將參加一個儀式,屆時再給大家介紹該校。走進(jìn)一個小禮堂,只見學(xué)生即將坐滿,老師正組織學(xué)生入場,當(dāng)我們就座后,學(xué)生很快坐定,原來這個活動還有一個主題:與非洲加納一

25、所幫扶學(xué)校的來訪者交流反饋今年23名Rye中學(xué)學(xué)生去加納旅行的感受,并贈送禮物給他們表示感謝。在活動中,主持老師和校長和表演節(jié)目的學(xué)生及學(xué)生觀眾有很近的交流,校長也在活動結(jié)束前對所有學(xué)生進(jìn)行了感人的感恩教育。整個活動氣氛輕松,會場沒有做作,都是真誠的交流。 Rye中學(xué)的教室和學(xué)習(xí)中心掛滿了學(xué)生們制作的五顏六色的海報,校園占地面積不大,但麻雀雖小,五臟俱全,室內(nèi)體育場,游泳池,室外小足球場,還有藝術(shù)活動中心,包括舞蹈室、繪畫室、服裝設(shè)計室、器樂練習(xí)室、攝影制作室、烹飪室等等。 我們觀摩了三堂語言課:西班牙語、法語和英語教學(xué)。老師上得輕松自如,學(xué)生學(xué)得開心快樂。沒有家庭作業(yè)。而我們也被邀請去與學(xué)生

26、進(jìn)行交流活動,那位教西班牙語的老師還給每個學(xué)生發(fā)了一張調(diào)查表,內(nèi)容涉及詢問我們的家庭、愛好等等。學(xué)生們很自信,大膽地與我們進(jìn)行交流。他們表現(xiàn)得很老練,也很坦誠。牛津大學(xué) 劍橋大學(xué)第三部分第三部分滿載而歸想象得了回國時的情景嗎?前后左右都是東西,每個人在規(guī)定的載重量外還得費盡心機地想辦法怎么過托運關(guān)。還沒給朋友家人們買完禮物,就發(fā)現(xiàn)行李箱早就滿了。而自己載重也是痛并快樂著,只好用“滿載而歸”來安慰自己了。無論如何也得平平安安地回到家鄉(xiāng)。學(xué)習(xí)了三個月,最后的檢測分了論文寫作、語法詞匯、教學(xué)法、閱讀和聽力五項。老師給我們的評價很高。每個人的成績分別寫在一張小紙條上,不公開也不排名。與國內(nèi)的成績反饋很不一樣,老師說發(fā)成績給我們的目的是讓我們更加了解自己的優(yōu)勢和不足,而我的確從中受益匪淺。自己在論文寫作上做了很多功課,本來可以得到更好的成績,但在關(guān)鍵的一步上卻掉以輕心,想到的沒去驗證,結(jié)果自己很不滿意,也很不開心。但這卻給了我深刻的教訓(xùn):做工作該精確的時候一定要認(rèn)真仔細(xì),不能粗心大意。語法詞匯考試是我的弱項。除了有一個排序題,其他試題涉及的都是老師上課的部分內(nèi)容,由于沒有充分復(fù)習(xí),有些語言點已經(jīng)忘了。還有自己考試的那天情緒不佳,考試不在狀態(tài)。所以,我得關(guān)注復(fù)習(xí)環(huán)節(jié)和保持良好的心態(tài)的重要性
