2、ods, students have known a lot of words and phrases about doing housework. The main sentences: What can you do? I can sweep the floor. Can you set the table? Yes, I can. No, I cant. Had been showed and practised for so many times. So this period is mainly to check how much have the students mastered
3、. 2. Teaching aims and demandsKnowledge goals: Enable students to master the four skilled sentences: Can you make the bed? No, I cant. Can you use a computer? Yes, I can. Ability goals: Students can using the sentences, Can you? Yes, I can. No, I cant. to ask or answer about doing housework.Emotion
4、goals:Enable students love doing housework and willing to help others to do something. Teaching important and difficult points: The four skilled sentences, Can you ? Yes, I can. No, I cant.Part Analysis on studentsGrade 5 students are in their third year of learning English. They have got much vocab
5、ulary and knowledge about English and are willing to learn more. They had learned some phrases, such as, water the flowers, set the table in Grade 4. So they can learn this unit quickly. They are very active and willing to show others what they know about. They can learn by themselves.Part Teaching

7、nt Lets chant with the tape. Meanwhile, students and clap hands and say with the teacher.Teacher uses the word cards to ask the students quickly: What can you do? Students answer the question by doing movement. Depart students in to four groups.These TPR activities are the students likely to do. It
8、can help students get into the English world easily and reviews the former knowledge. By doing these,it can improve the students listening abilities and it is based on the following lesson.Having a competition in groups can help students get more attention in learning.Step 2 Preview (4min)Introduce
9、my friend Robot to the whole class. Let students to ask some questions and try to get some information about What the Robot can do and can not do.Lead students get interest to the new lesson with the robot. Enable students can use the former knowledge to ask and get some informations about the new l
10、esson. Trying to use more phrases and sentences learned in this unit.Step 3 Presentation( 10min)1. Students read the dialogue quickly and fill in the chart.2.Teacher use the computer to show the CAI, let students to watch and listen to the dialogue, then imitate the intonation.3. Listen and repeat t
11、he dialogue.4.Check the answer of the chart.1.Give students a task then read quickly,try to get the main idead of the dialogue.2.Get the main idea of the dialogue by watching the cartoon. Understanding the meaning of the new phraseplay chess.3. It is fun for students to imitate the intonation of the
12、 robot and read by themselves. Students get more interest in the dialogue and focus on the new sentences. 4. Make sure students can do the task right.Step 4 Practice(10min)1.Role play. Read and act by 4 students (one of them is the robot) in each group and see which group can do the best,Make a surv
13、ey in group then give a report by the group leaders. Do the Group work.Review the dialogue and enlarge the students interest. Teacher checks the students pronunciation and helps some students.Make sure students can use the main sentences to talk about What can do and cant do.This task provides stude
