Course Team and Lecturer Information(1) COURSE DESCRIPTION:Academic Writing takes students from paragraph structuring to essay writing through a pro

2、cess approach. It teaches students how to order and paragraph into cohesive and coherent essays and to create the various paragraph types that are used in written assignments. Academic Writing includes work on how to generate ideas, organise material, draft, review, and revise written work. It will

3、also familiarise students with the academic culture of a UK university, enabling to develop their confidence and get off to a good start in their chosen programme of study.(2) COURSE OBJECTIVES:Improve the skill of generate ideas, organise material, draft, review, and revise written workEffectively
