(2012試用版)醫(yī)護英語水平考試(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試大綱MedicalEnglishTestSystem(METS)ForMedicalProfessionals—Level1醫(yī)護英語水平考試辦公室目錄一、METS(醫(yī)藥類)簡介METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試體系的背景METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試的目標(biāo)與宗旨METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試的設(shè)計原則METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試成績的使用及適用范圍METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試的組織實施二、METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試級別與內(nèi)容概述METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試的語言能力描述METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試的話題范圍及交際任務(wù)描述三、METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試結(jié)構(gòu)與樣卷METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試結(jié)構(gòu)METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試樣卷METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試答題卡METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試樣卷聽力錄音文本METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試樣卷參考答案附錄METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試詞匯表PAGEPAGE69一、METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試簡介1.METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試體系的背景為適應(yīng)經(jīng)濟全球化、教育國際化、醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生人才專業(yè)化的發(fā)展,滿足國內(nèi)外人才資源合理配置的需要,促進醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生類專業(yè)人才英語水平的提高,同時為進一步貫徹落實《國家中長期教育改革和發(fā)展規(guī)劃綱要(2010年-2020年)》和《醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生中長期人才發(fā)展規(guī)劃(2011-2020年)》的文件精神,健全符合醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生人才特點的科學(xué)化、社會化評價機制,“以用為本”,促進醫(yī)藥院校的行業(yè)英語教育教學(xué)改革,為醫(yī)療機構(gòu)選拔人才提供評價服務(wù),根據(jù)醫(yī)護英語水平考試主辦機構(gòu)的統(tǒng)一規(guī)劃,醫(yī)護英語水平考試辦公室(簡稱METS辦公室)總結(jié)了METS(護理類)考試的成功經(jīng)驗,力圖在衛(wèi)生行業(yè)除護理類以外,繼續(xù)提供其他專業(yè)的醫(yī)護英語考試評價標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。經(jīng)過幾年的積累,METS考試辦公室通過組織從事臨床和科研工作的專家、語言測試專家和英語教學(xué)專家,根據(jù)醫(yī)療機構(gòu)崗位的實際需求,開發(fā)設(shè)計了醫(yī)護英語水平考試(醫(yī)藥類)考試大綱(試用版),其中涉及臨床醫(yī)學(xué)、預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)、口腔醫(yī)學(xué)、中醫(yī)、藥學(xué)、助產(chǎn)、檢驗、康復(fù)等不同的專業(yè)類別,以下簡稱METS(醫(yī)藥類)。這一考核標(biāo)準(zhǔn)旨在通過醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生英語的考核,加強醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生專業(yè)技術(shù)人才英語學(xué)習(xí)能力的培養(yǎng)、提高醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生人才隊伍的英語素質(zhì),進而使METS(醫(yī)藥類)成為醫(yī)療機構(gòu)選才的英語標(biāo)準(zhǔn),在醫(yī)療機構(gòu)招聘、考核、選拔人才中發(fā)揮一定的作用。同時,通過該考核標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的使用,促進醫(yī)藥院校衛(wèi)生英語的教學(xué)改革,以考促學(xué)、以考促教,為醫(yī)藥院校人才培養(yǎng)提供統(tǒng)一的測評手段,搭建起溝通醫(yī)藥院校人才培養(yǎng)和醫(yī)療機構(gòu)用人標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的橋梁,在衛(wèi)生人才隊伍的建設(shè)過程中做出應(yīng)有的貢獻。2.METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試的目標(biāo)和宗旨1)建立一個覆蓋衛(wèi)生行業(yè)不同專業(yè)(除護理類)、不同教育層次需要的、擁有4個級別的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)參照性醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生英語考試體系??忌皇苣挲g、學(xué)歷等方面的限制,在全國范圍內(nèi)推動醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生英語的學(xué)習(xí)與提高,滿足社會發(fā)展特別是經(jīng)濟全球化的需要。2)完善各種考查手段,尤其是聽、說方面的考查方法,確保各級別都能考查考生聽、說、讀、寫、譯的語言交際能力,促進醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生英語的教學(xué)改革。3)結(jié)合我國醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生英語的教學(xué)實際和社會發(fā)展的客觀需要,在同一能力量表的基礎(chǔ)上進一步合理設(shè)置各級考試的評價標(biāo)準(zhǔn)并給出詳盡的說明,科學(xué)界定各種考查要求的關(guān)系。4)采取有效的技術(shù)手段,確保相同級別不同考次之間考生成績的等值,逐步與有關(guān)國際考試接軌,拓展考生成績的使用范圍,為考生就業(yè)和用人單位錄用人才提供有價值的參考標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。3.METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試設(shè)計原則1)突出語言交際能力的考查。METS(醫(yī)藥類)試題以考查交際能力為核心,以促進考生醫(yī)護英語實際交際能力的提高為原則。2)強調(diào)系統(tǒng)性,注重實用性。考查要求應(yīng)設(shè)計合理、連貫有序。注意各級別同類知識或技能之間的考查要求逐步遞進。努力做到低級別所要求的能力包括在高級別所要求的能力之中;高級別的考查要求應(yīng)是低級別考查要求在縱、橫兩個方面上的發(fā)展,妥善協(xié)調(diào)同級別各種技能之間的考查關(guān)系。3)妥善處理教學(xué)現(xiàn)狀與社會發(fā)展需要的關(guān)系。METS(醫(yī)藥類)的設(shè)計既要充分考慮我國醫(yī)藥衛(wèi)生技術(shù)人才國際化的需要,又十分注意我國衛(wèi)生英語目前的實際教學(xué)水平。既注重導(dǎo)向性又強調(diào)實用性。4)大膽使用現(xiàn)代考試技術(shù),注意兼顧考試技術(shù)現(xiàn)狀與今后的技術(shù)發(fā)展。努力從實際出發(fā),在考試的各個階段,盡可能采用高科技手段。注意既積極穩(wěn)妥地使用各種成熟的考試技術(shù),又不斷引進、研發(fā)最新的考試手段,力爭使本考試成為設(shè)計先進、技術(shù)先進、較具權(quán)威的現(xiàn)代化專業(yè)英語考試。注意為今后考試技術(shù)的發(fā)展奠定良好的基礎(chǔ)。4.METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試成績的使用以及適用范圍METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試是綜合考慮用人單位的崗位需求和不同教育層次的實際情況設(shè)計開發(fā)的。METS(醫(yī)藥類)的考試級別設(shè)置為一級、二級、三級、四級;一級是初始級,四級是最高級??己藢ο筮m用于臨床醫(yī)學(xué)、預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)、口腔醫(yī)學(xué)、中醫(yī)、藥學(xué)、助產(chǎn)、檢驗、康復(fù)等專業(yè)不同層次的在校和在職考生。METS(醫(yī)藥類)是社會評價類證書考試,考生不受年齡、學(xué)歷、專業(yè)和所在地區(qū)等方面的限制。為保證考試評價尺度的統(tǒng)一性,METS考試辦公室對考試成績擁有解釋權(quán)??荚嚦煽冇行诘恼J(rèn)定和使用權(quán)由考生所在學(xué)校和相關(guān)用人單位自行決定。證書的簽章單位為教育部考試中心中英教育測量交流中心、中華醫(yī)學(xué)會、中國國際人才交流協(xié)會。5.METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試的組織實施METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試由METS考試辦公室組織實施,每年舉辦兩次。考試時間分別為每年6月和12月的第一個星期六,如與國家法定節(jié)假日沖突,METS考試辦公室會另行通知。2012年6月已進行了醫(yī)藥類第二級別的試考。若需獲取更多考試信息,請登錄METS考試官方網(wǎng)站:。二、METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試級別與內(nèi)容概述METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試第一級是METS(醫(yī)藥類)考試四個級別中的初始級。通過該級考試的考生,能基本理解較為簡單的、初級的臨床醫(yī)藥類英語材料;能就常見的臨床醫(yī)藥類話題,如詢問病史、解釋診斷、安慰患者、討論癥狀、說明用藥等用英語進行簡單的交流;了解基本的英語語法知識,掌握2500左右英語單詞及相關(guān)詞組(其中醫(yī)藥類專業(yè)詞匯約950個);其英語水平能滿足臨床醫(yī)藥類初級崗位對英語的基本要求。1.METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試的語言能力描述1)聽力聽力部分檢測考生理解、分析口頭信息的能力,尤其是辨識重要或特定信息的能力。考生應(yīng)能基本聽懂較為簡單的臨床醫(yī)藥類談話內(nèi)容,能掌握中心大意,抓住要點。聽力部分的語速為每分鐘80詞左右。聽力測試技能包括:(1)理解所聽材料的內(nèi)容大意;(2)把握其中要點和細(xì)節(jié);(3)正確判斷說話人的目的與態(tài)度;(4)正確推斷說話的背景、說話者之間的關(guān)系。2)閱讀閱讀部分測試考生獲取書面信息的能力,要求考生運用所學(xué)詞匯和語法知識基本讀懂較為淺顯的臨床醫(yī)藥類文章,能夠理解主要事實和相關(guān)細(xì)節(jié),能夠在閱讀中使用有效的閱讀方法。閱讀測試技能包括:(1)理解語篇的基本含義;(2)辨識文中具體細(xì)節(jié);(3)根據(jù)上下文推測生詞的詞義;(4)了解作者的目的、態(tài)度和觀點等。3)翻譯(英譯漢)翻譯是檢測考生語言運用能力的重要手段。要求考生在讀懂原文的基礎(chǔ)上,用地道的漢語忠實地表達原文。翻譯測試技能包括:(1)透徹理解英語原文的含義;(2)了解漢英兩種語言在語言風(fēng)格、句子結(jié)構(gòu)和用詞等方面的異同;(3)掌握被動語態(tài)、各種從句、with結(jié)構(gòu)等的譯法;(4)譯文應(yīng)忠實于原文,防止誤譯、漏譯或多譯;(5)譯文應(yīng)防止“洋化”等不符合漢語習(xí)慣的現(xiàn)象。4)寫作寫作部分測試考生用英語進行書面表達的能力。要求考生完成初級寫作任務(wù),即在25分鐘內(nèi)完成80詞左右的臨床醫(yī)藥類應(yīng)用短文,或以某一話題為內(nèi)容的議論文、敘述文等;語義基本完整、連貫,用詞基本恰當(dāng),無重大語法錯誤;能掌握基本的寫作規(guī)范。寫作測試技能包括:能夠清晰、準(zhǔn)確地表達思想;邏輯順暢,結(jié)構(gòu)分明;用詞基本準(zhǔn)確,無重大語法錯誤;能正確使用標(biāo)點符號;(5)能遵循合適的英語寫作規(guī)范。METS(醫(yī)藥類)第一級考試的話題范圍及交際任務(wù)描述下面列出的話題范圍及交際任務(wù)適合METS(醫(yī)藥類)各級別考試,但各級別考試對語言交際的要求不同,因而試題難度有所不同。Greetingandreassuringpatients問候并安撫患者Askingaboutpatients’personaldetails(name,age,occupation,pastmedicalhistory,etc)詢問患者個人信息(姓名、年齡、職業(yè)、病史等)Askingapatientabo
