Speakingthelanguageisusuallythegoaloflanguagelearning,butspeakingcanwait.Onceyouhaveacquiredthelanguage,youwillfindtheopportunitytospeak.Whenyouarelearningthelanguageitismoreimportanttolisten.Tryingtojustpickupafew“handy”phrasestosayislikelytojustgetyouintotrouble.Ifyoumeetanativespeaker,youwillinevitablyspendmostofyourtimelisteningunlessyoualreadyknowthelanguage.Youdonotneedtospeakinordertolearn,youneedtolearninordertospeak.
