背景知識

故宮位于北京市中心,又名紫禁城,是明清兩代的皇宮。始建于明朝永樂年間。南邊長961米,東西

寬753米,占地面積78萬平方米。共有房屋8700間,每道門上的銅釘是橫豎9顆。在中國古代,人們認(rèn)

為“9”與“久”諧音,即“永久”,寓意皇帝的江山可以天長地久。

故宮分為兩大部分。南部為外朝,是處理朝政的地方。外朝包括太和殿、中和殿和保和殿。太和殿是

舉行盛大典禮的地方,有一個(gè)門前廣場。過了太和殿就是中和殿。中和殿是皇帝臨朝前的預(yù)備室。保和殿

的建筑與太和殿類似,只是規(guī)模小一點(diǎn)。保和殿是皇帝舉行大宴和殿試的場所。
