合成名詞將主體名詞變?yōu)閺?fù)數(shù)passer-by—passers-by無(wú)主體名詞時(shí)將最后一部分變?yōu)閺?fù)數(shù)grown-up—grown-ups,raincoat—raincoats將兩部分均變?yōu)閺?fù)數(shù)mandoctor—mendoctors2.不可數(shù)名詞(1)不可數(shù)名詞沒(méi)有復(fù)數(shù)形式,如要表示多少,要用“a+量詞+of+名詞”來(lái)表示,如twocupsofcoffee,apieceofbread等。(2)通常物質(zhì)名詞和抽象名詞為不可數(shù)名詞。物質(zhì)名詞:如ice,water,coffee,soup,milk等;抽象名詞:如thought,advice,knowledge,happiness,sorrow,fun,courage等。3.使用名詞復(fù)數(shù)的特殊情況(1)定冠詞the+姓氏的復(fù)數(shù),表示一家人或夫妻倆。如theGreens,theTrumps。(2)有些名詞在一些短語(yǔ)中,只能使用復(fù)數(shù)形式。如makefriendswith,shakehandswith,takepainstodosth.(努力做某事)等。三、名詞所有格名詞所有格表示名詞之間的所有關(guān)系。有兩種表達(dá)形式:-'s式和“of+名詞”式。1.-'s式所有格常用于有生命的東西。不是以-s結(jié)尾的名詞,加上-'s;以-s結(jié)尾的復(fù)數(shù)名詞,只加“'”即可。如Peter'sbackpack,TheBlacks'house。特別地,以-s結(jié)尾的單數(shù)普通名詞后仍然加-'s。如theboss'sson。表示時(shí)間、距離、金額、國(guó)家或城市等的名詞也用-'s表示。如theworld'spopulation,amile'sjourney。注意:(1)表示共有關(guān)系時(shí),只在最后一個(gè)名詞后加-'s,如MaryandTom'sbedroom;表示各自所有關(guān)系時(shí),必須在每個(gè)名詞后加-'s,如Mary'sandTom'sbedrooms。(2)若表示店鋪、教堂或某人的家時(shí),所有格后的名詞可以省略,如:Helivesnea
