所依據的課程標準：六級目標：讀：2.能利用上下文和句子結構猜測詞義4.能根據閱讀目的使用不同的閱讀策略。七級目標：讀2.能理解文章主旨和作者意圖3.能通過上下文客服生詞困難，理解語篇意義；六級目標：說：1.能傳遞信息并就熟悉的話題表達看法;3.能有條理的描述個人體驗和表達個人的見解和想象。七級目標：說：1.能在日常交際中對一般的詢問和要求做出恰當的反應；2.能根據熟悉的話題，稍作準備后，有條理地做簡短的發(fā)言；3.能就一般話題進行討論；4.能根據要求與人交流，合作，共同完成任務；教材分析：本作品介紹了亞洲（主要是中國）沙塵暴的情況，并引入了與沙塵暴和環(huán)保有關的詞匯。要求學生了解沙塵暴方面的知識并掌握相關詞匯，通過掌握有關詞匯，以沙塵暴和環(huán)保為題材，組織學生開展社會調查，了解當地的環(huán)保情況，讓學生用英語口介紹所見所聞，在活動中發(fā)展學生的語言能力，同時加強學生環(huán)保方面的知識，培養(yǎng)其環(huán)境保護的意識。本課時介紹了“亞洲的沙塵暴”。圍繞課文，編者設計了五個與課文內容和詞匯相關的聯系。通過這些練習，學生可以增進對沙塵暴危害性的了解，熟悉有關沙塵暴的詞匯。課本后面的Reading練習----AGlobalProblem----Desertification也是提高閱讀能力的一個很好的材料。重點：

Introduction部分為此模塊的warmingup,介紹與“沙塵暴”有關的詞匯，并設計了三個練習活動。通過教材設計的這三個活動，可以讓學生初步熟悉這些詞的意義，為以后的各項學習活動做好準備。ReadingandVocabulary為第二課時。本節(jié)內容是閱讀部分，為本單元的重點內容，通過對這個部分的學習，學生了解亞洲沙塵暴的狀況，增強環(huán)保意識，同時通過閱讀的練習提高閱讀能力，獲取相關信息.Grammar1andgrammar2為第三課時該部分為動詞不定式的用法，在學生掌握了它的基本用法之后再處理有關的特殊用法。Listeningandvocabulary,pronunciationandfunction,everydayEnglish部分為第四課時,通過聽的練習,讓學生學會表達情感的練習,并通過練習幫助學生鞏固這方面的知識.Speaking1andSpeaking2andWriting為第5課時,通過小組討論把討論的內容寫成作文.第六課時CulturalCorner,該部分內容為綠色運動,介紹了歐洲一些國家的環(huán)保情況,讀后增強學生的環(huán)保意識
