所依據的課程標準:六級目標:讀:2.能利用上下文和句子結構猜測詞義4.能根據閱讀目的使用不同的閱讀策略。七級目標:讀2.能理解文章主旨和作者意圖3.能通過上下文客服生詞困難,理解語篇意義;六級目標:說:1.能傳遞信息并就熟悉的話題表達看法;3.能有條理的描述個人體驗和表達個人的見解和想象。七級目標:說:1.能在日常交際中對一般的詢問和要求做出恰當的反應;2.能根據熟悉的話題,稍作準備后,有條理地做簡短的發(fā)言;3.能就一般話題進行討論;4.能根據要求與人交流,合作,共同完成任務;教材分析:本作品介紹了亞洲(主要是中國)沙塵暴的情況,并引入了與沙塵暴和環(huán)保有關的詞匯。要求學生了解沙塵暴方面的知識并掌握相關詞匯,通過掌握有關詞匯,以沙塵暴和環(huán)保為題材,組織學生開展社會調查,了解當地的環(huán)保情況,讓學生用英語口介紹所見所聞,在活動中發(fā)展學生的語言能力,同時加強學生環(huán)保方面的知識,培養(yǎng)其環(huán)境保護的意識。本課時介紹了“亞洲的沙塵暴”。圍繞課文,編者設計了五個與課文內容和詞匯相關的聯系。通過這些練習,學生可以增進對沙塵暴危害性的了解,熟悉有關沙塵暴的詞匯。課本后面的Reading練習----AGlobalProblem----Desertification也是提高閱讀能力的一個很好的材料。重點:

Introduction部分為此模塊的warmingup,介紹與“沙塵暴”有關的詞匯,并設計了三個練習活動。通過教材設計的這三個活動,可以讓學生初步熟悉這些詞的意義,為以后的各項學習活動做好準備。ReadingandVocabulary為第二課時。本節(jié)內容是閱讀部分,為本單元的重點內容,通過對這個部分的學習,學生了解亞洲沙塵暴的狀況,增強環(huán)保意識,同時通過閱讀的練習提高閱讀能力,獲取相關信息.Grammar1andgrammar2為第三課時該部分為動詞不定式的用法,在學生掌握了它的基本用法之后再處理有關的特殊用法。Listeningandvocabulary,pronunciationandfunction,everydayEnglish部分為第四課時,通過聽的練習,讓學生學會表達情感的練習,并通過練習幫助學生鞏固這方面的知識.Speaking1andSpeaking2andWriting為第5課時,通過小組討論把討論的內容寫成作文.第六課時CulturalCorner,該部分內容為綠色運動,介紹了歐洲一些國家的環(huán)保情況,讀后增強學生的環(huán)保意識
