e.g.:Jimlikesred.Ilikered,too.LanguagePoints(3)also用于肯定句,且放于連系動詞、助動詞或情態(tài)動詞之后,實義動詞之前,意為“也”。

e.g.:Theyalsoagreewithme.(4)aswell常用于肯定句句末,意為“也;還”,其前無逗號。

maybe此處作副詞,意為“也許,可能”,相當于perhaps,常位于句首。

e.g.:Maybeshe'llcomethisafternoon.Maybeyouputtheletterinyourpockets.【辨析】maybe與maybe(1)maybe意為“也許是,可能是”,may是情態(tài)動詞,be是動詞原形,兩者構(gòu)成完整的謂語形式,與主語形成系表結(jié)構(gòu)。

e.g.:Hemaybeasoldier.(2)maybe和maybe可相互轉(zhuǎn)換。

e.g.:Maybeyouareright.=Youmayberight.3.Theremustbesomethingvisitingthehomesintheneighborhood,...一定有什么東西闖入了我們社區(qū)的住戶家中,......(教材P59)theremustbe是therebe與情態(tài)動詞must連用的結(jié)構(gòu),表示對現(xiàn)在情況的肯定推測,意為“一定有......”。

e.g.:Theremustbesomeoneintheroom.“Therebe+名詞+doingsth.”句型表示“有......在做某事”。

e.g.:Thereissomeoneknockingatthedoor.Therearesomeboysstandingontheplayground.4.Thenoise-makerishavingtoomuchfuncreatingfearintheneighborhood.噪音制造者非常樂于在社區(qū)里制造恐懼。(教材P59)havefun意為“玩得高興;過得愉快”,其同義短語為haveagreat/good/wonderfultime和enjoyoneself。

e.g.:Didyouhavefunattheparty?It’sagoodplacetohavefun.havefun(in)doingsth.意為“做某事很開心”。
