Purpose:tohelpstudentsthinkofanimalswithunusualpartsofthebody

DirectstudentstotheKeyWords.Sayeachkeywordasyoutouchthatpartofthebody.Saythewordsagain,inrandomorder,touchingthecorrespondingpartofthebody.Thensaythewords,butdon'ttouchanypartofyourbody.Instead,havestudentstouchthebodypart.ThenreadtheKeyWordsaloud,havingstudentsrepeatafteryou.YoumayalsousethePictureDictionaryonpage116,BodyParts,toteachtheKeyWords.

ReadtheExamplealoud,orhaveastudentreadit.Say"Nowthinkofsomeanimalswithunusualpartsofthebody".Givestudentsafewmomentstothinkofsomeanimals.Iftheyhavetrouble,givethemsomeideas,forexample,Anelephanthasaverylongnose.Zebrashaveverybignecks.

Whenstudentshavefinished,say"Nowtelltheclass".Asaclass,discusssomeanimalswithunusualpartsofthebody.
