2)Itdepends(on)who/what/how/whether…是一個常見句型。當(dāng)depend后接疑問詞及含有疑問詞的
短語和從句時,口語中會省略depend后的介詞on,以求話語簡練。例如:

這取決于你哪天見我,以及見我的時間。

2.1justwanttolaughandnotthinktoomuch.
這句話中的tolaugh和notthinktoomuch均為動詞不定式,但后者在not和think之間省略了to。
英語語句中當(dāng)多個不定式結(jié)構(gòu)并列使用時,t。出現(xiàn)在第一個結(jié)構(gòu)中,后面的往往會省略。再如:

★常用于“prefer...to...”結(jié)構(gòu)中,意為“喜歡……勝過……;更喜歡……而不太喜歡……”,其中to
是介詞:接動詞時要用動詞-ing形式;此結(jié)構(gòu)可以與“l(fā)ike...betterthan...”結(jié)構(gòu)互相轉(zhuǎn)換。

定語從句是指修飾某一名詞或代詞的從句叫定語從句,定語從句所修飾的詞叫先行詞。定語從
