1、,第二章 語法填空 第二節(jié) 有提示詞的解題技巧 專題一 謂語動詞,一、基礎知識,(續(xù)上),1在時間和條件狀語從句中,現(xiàn)在時表示一般將來時、過去時代替過去將來時。 例如:He promised to buy me a computer if he got a raise. When I get there,I will call you. 2進行時與表示頻率的副詞always,constantly,continually,again等連用,表示說話人的某種感情色彩如贊嘆、厭煩、埋怨等。,二、難點提示,例如:You are always complaining about the weather.

2、 3For,since,lately,recently,just,already, up to now,so far,till now, these days,in the past few weeks,during the last few years等,是現(xiàn)在完成時的標志詞。 例如:I have been busy repairing my house in the last few weeks. So far we have learned about 3,500 English words.,4think,want,hope,mean,plan,intend等動詞可用過去完成時來表示過

3、去未曾實現(xiàn)的想法、希望,打算或意圖等。 例如:They had wanted to help but could not get there in time. 5過去完成時還可用在hardly.when,no sooner.than,it was the first(second,etc) time(that).等固定句型中。 例如:Hardly had he begun to speak when the audience interrupted him.,注意:如果兩個動作緊接著發(fā)生,通常不用過去完成時,特別是在包含before和after的復合句中,通常用一般過去時代替過去完成時。 例如

4、:After he arrived in England,Marx worked hard to improve his English. 6不及物動詞如happen,become,rise,occur,belong,appear,arrive,die,fall,last,exist,fail,succeed等,沒有被動語態(tài)。,7某些及物動詞如lock,wash,sell,read,wear,ride,write等,通常用主動語態(tài)表示被動意義,而且常與well,quite,easily,badly等副詞連用。 例如:The pen writes smoothly,so it sells wel

5、l. 8一些常用的被動句型:it is said.,it is reported.,it is widely believed.,it is expected.,it is estimated.,這些句子一般翻譯為“據(jù)說”“人們認為”,而“以前人們認為”則應該說:it was believed.,it was thought.等。,技巧一、當提示詞是動詞,且此空缺少謂語動詞時,應填入此謂語動詞恰當?shù)臅r態(tài)和語態(tài)形式,同時注意保持主謂一致。近幾年考查最多的是動詞的過去式 例1 I_(love)dancing when I was a little girl.,分析句子結(jié)構(gòu)可以判斷主句缺謂語,從句的

6、謂語was為過去式,所以主句也應用過去式。I和love的關(guān)系是主動關(guān)系,所以應填入love的過去式、主動語態(tài)loved。,loved,三、解題技巧,例2 I_(tell)early in the morning that I must look after my sister,so I couldnt play football.,tell 做謂語,I與tell是被動關(guān)系,從下文可知應用過去式,所以填入was told。,was told,例3Many a boy and many a girl_(invite)to the party last night.,boy,girl應邀參加晚會,時

7、間是last night,此處應用動詞過去式的被動語態(tài)。此外,主語是many a.and many a.,謂語應用單數(shù),所以答案為was invited。,was invited,技巧二、確定句中是否缺并列謂語,特別注意連詞and與or前后的動詞形式要保持一致 例Alice got up early,_(eat) some bread and went to school in a hurry.,分析句子成分可知,and連接三個并列謂語,所以應填入ate與got up,went保持形式一致。,ate,(一)用所給動詞的正確形式填空,注意時態(tài)、語態(tài)和主謂一致。 1I was certain sh
