There are many people in the hall.,There +is /are+ 某物 /人+ 某地 某地有某物或某人 “有,存在”,There is a dog in the room.,There are two dogs in the room.,There be句型中的be動詞要和后面的主語在數(shù)上保持一致,（1）如果句子的主語是單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞或不可數(shù)

2、名詞時，be動詞就用is.如： There is a table in the room. 房間里有一張桌子。 There is a little water in the bottle. 瓶子里有一點水。 （2）如果句子的主語是復(fù)數(shù)名詞時，be動詞就用are。如： There are some pencils on the chair. 椅子上有一些鉛筆,就近原則,（3）如果有兩個或兩個以上的主語時，be動詞要和最靠近它的那個主語在數(shù)上保持一致。如： There is a pen and some books on the desk. 書桌上有一支鋼筆和一些書。 There are some

Yes, there are. / No, there arent.,There is/are- 的特殊疑問句,a）就There be后面的主語進行提問， 指物用“Whats ( there ) ” 指人用“Whos ( there ) ” 其中的the

5、re在口語中經(jīng)常省略。值得注意的是，無論是原句的主語是單數(shù)還是復(fù)數(shù)，提問時動詞be均用單數(shù)。如： （1）There are some bikes in the room Whats (there) in the room? （2）There is a boy in the house. Whos (there) in the house?,b) 對there be后面的地點狀語進行提問，用“Where is / are+主語”表示，注意其答語變化。如： （1）There is a car under the tree. Where is the car? Its under the tree.

Theyre on the table.,c)對there be后面主語的數(shù)量進行提問 如果主語是可數(shù)名詞，無論是單數(shù)還是復(fù)數(shù)，均用“How many+復(fù)數(shù)名詞+are there+地點介詞短語”表示； There are three bikes in the house. How many bikes are there in the house? There is a boy in the room. 如果主語是不可數(shù)名詞，則用“How much + 不

7、可名詞+is there+地點介詞短語”表示。如： There is a little water in the bottle. How much water is there in the bottle?,There be句型有特點，主語跟在be后邊。 單數(shù)主語用is，復(fù)數(shù)用are記心間， 多個主語并列時，be隨身邊主語變。 變否定，很簡單，be后要把not添。 變問句也不難，把be提到there前。 肯定句中用 some，否定疑問any 換。,總結(jié),特殊疑問句- 對人提問用whos, 對事物提問用whats， be動詞一律用單數(shù)is 對地點提問用where； 對數(shù)量提問可數(shù)名詞用how many+名詞復(fù)數(shù)+are there； 不可數(shù)名詞用how much+不可數(shù)名詞+ is there,練習(xí)：用be的適當形式填空。 1.
