He sang as he walked. Strike the iron while it is hot. when正要/在/剛做完這時(shí) was / were doing when was were about to do had just done 我正要出去這時(shí)天空突然下起了雨。 2、引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語從句的詞和短語有:directly immediately instantly, the instant, the moment, the minute (上述詞組及詞皆等于as soon as )the day , the month, the week, every time, each time, next time, by the timeeg. He was born the year his father died. 使用時(shí)間狀語從句時(shí)應(yīng)注意:(1)當(dāng)時(shí)間狀語從句的主語與主句的主語一致或?yàn)閕t時(shí),謂語 部分又含有be時(shí),可省從句的主語和be。 Metals expand when heated and contract when cooled. (2)在時(shí)間狀語從句中,用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)表將來,用現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)表將來完成時(shí)。 Well meet again when you have graduated. 3、過去完成時(shí)過去完成時(shí)的構(gòu)成形式是:had +done, 表示在過去某一時(shí)間以前或在過去某一動作以前已經(jīng) 完成的動作,可以說過去完成時(shí)所表示的時(shí)間是“過去的過去”。 過去完成時(shí)是一個(gè)相對的時(shí)態(tài),在同過去的動作相比較時(shí),才能使用。例如:By the end of last term we had learned six English books. (動作發(fā)生在上學(xué)期期末前) The train had left when we got to the station. (get to 發(fā)生在過去,leave 發(fā)生在get to 的過去) 此外,過去完成時(shí)還常用在賓語從句中。例如: He told me he had seen the film twice. She said that she had finished her homework already.有些表示希望、愿望的動詞如hope,think, expect, mean, intend, suppose, want等,用過去完 成時(shí),可表示“過去未曾實(shí)現(xiàn)的希望、打算或意圖”。例如: I had hoped to see more in Beijing. 我本希望在北京多看看。(但未能如愿)4、現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)與過去完成時(shí)的區(qū)別 兩者的區(qū)別主要是時(shí)間的立足點(diǎn)不同。現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)的動作發(fā)生在過去,但與現(xiàn)在的時(shí)間有聯(lián)系;而過去完成時(shí)的動作發(fā)生在過去的過去,是與過去的某個(gè)時(shí)間有聯(lián)系。例如:We have studied English for three years. 我們已經(jīng)學(xué)了三年英語。(可能繼續(xù)學(xué)下去)We had studied English for three years before we came here. 在來這兒之前,我們已學(xué)了三年英語。(只說來這兒之前,我們已學(xué)了三年英語。與現(xiàn)在沒有聯(lián)系)Exercise 1.
