5、單元以Cloning為話題,旨在通過單元教學,使學生了解克隆技術(shù)的優(yōu)缺點,學會表達和支持個人觀點,能用所學的有關(guān)Cloning的詞匯去表述自己對這一新技術(shù)的觀點和看法。1) Warming Up提供了四幅有關(guān)Dolly the sheep(多莉羊),A strawberry plant(草莓植物),Identical dogs(克隆狗) ,Twins(雙胞胎嬰兒)的圖片,讓學生用已有的知識和經(jīng)驗討論對克隆技術(shù)的看法與觀點。2) Listening是關(guān)于人類克隆的聽力材料,難度中等。3) Speaking根據(jù)材料,四人小組合作,要求把自己對克隆嬰兒的態(tài)度和感覺用相關(guān)的語言表達出來。語言要得體,鍛
6、煉語段表達能力。4) Pre-reading是Reading的熱身活動,它要求采用與同學討論交流的方式談?wù)撚嘘P(guān)克隆的相關(guān)知識。5) Reading是一篇介紹克隆技術(shù)的說明文。6) Comprehending第一題所給出的表格讓學生根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容列舉克隆技術(shù)的優(yōu)缺點;第二題讓學生根據(jù)所擁有的知識來評價作者的觀點;第三題要求學生用自己的語言闡述對克隆技術(shù)的觀點并給出理由。 7) Learning about Language分詞匯和語法兩部分,其中Discovering useful words and expressions 是根據(jù)語境在運用中掌握詞匯。Discovering useful str

Listening and speaking 讓學生根據(jù)所聽到的內(nèi)容選擇并列出文中人物觀點。2 教材重組1) 從話題內(nèi)容上分析,Warming Up 與Reading相一致,而從訓(xùn)練目的上分析Warming Up與TALKING比較一致。從教材份量來說,可將Warming Up和Reading
8、整合在一起,設(shè)計成一節(jié)任務(wù)型“閱讀課(一)(精讀課)”。2) 將Listening 和Workbook中的LISTENING整合在一起,設(shè)計成一節(jié)“聽力課”。3) 將Using Language與Workbook中的TALKING 和SPEAKING TASK結(jié)合在一起,設(shè)計成一節(jié)“口語課”。 4) 將Learning about Language與Workbook中的USING WORDS AND EXPRESSIONS整合在一起上成 “語法課”。5) 將Workbook中READING TASK和PROJECT 以及WRITING TASK整合成一節(jié)“泛讀與寫作課”。3. 課型設(shè)計與課時分

11、分鐘;2. 給出6分鐘時間讓學生快速的讀2遍生詞表,期間若學生對個別單詞發(fā)音不清楚可舉手由老師親自輔導(dǎo)發(fā)音;(B班學生語音大多不過關(guān),這一步非常重要,熟悉發(fā)音是培養(yǎng)語感的第一步;并且在后面學習中要強化領(lǐng)讀2-3遍)Step II. Read the text(Page10-12),then do the exercises on Page 29(三維設(shè)計教師用書;學生用書page3)及教材P12頁Comprehending里的練習.(給學生限時20分鐘,再用6分鐘師生互動)注解:1、閱讀方法:快速閱讀為默讀限時8分鐘,先讀題(step2 Fast Reading)再默讀找信息點做題;Caref
12、ul Reading 限時12分鐘,理解段落大意及文章主旨并結(jié)合語境理解文中黑體單詞、短語的含義,并將預(yù)習中未能解決的問題和有疑惑的問題標出,以便在后面的師生互動中探究解決。2、練習可根據(jù)學生實際情況增刪,對課本上沒有的問題教師可板書在黑板上。若有條件用多媒體教學,可向?qū)W生展示更多關(guān)于cloning的flash來幫助學生理解. 師生互動可將學生分組加分鼓勵學生積極主動回答問題,教師還可提問不活躍學生,對學生回答的不好的問題教師可做引導(dǎo)點撥。對B班學生只要求做P29 Fast Reading 和Careful Reading里的段落大意題。Step III. 師生互動處理學生練習及理解中的疑難問
