It was announced that the lot superstar would be accepted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. His competitiveness, professional ethics and drive were
2、 unmatched, Jeanie Buss, the controlling owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, told ESPN. Those qualities helped Kobe lead us to five titles and have now brought him to the Hall of Fame. No one deserves it more. Indeed, it was Kobes unmatchable determination to be the best that distinguished him from his
3、 peers. He named it mamba mentality, after the black mamba, one of the worlds deadliest snakes, and also after the top killer from the movie Kill Bill. The mamba mentality became so popular that Kobe even detailed it in his book The Mamba Mentality: How I Play. In it, he revealed his physical and me
4、ntal preparations not just to succeed in the game, but to excel himself. Mamba mentality is all about focusing on the process and trusting in the hard work, he said during an interview. It started when someone described me like that one day, and its grown into something athletes and even non-athlete
5、s embrace (欣然接受) as a mindset. Kobe was similar to one of the greatest basketball players, Michael Jordan, not only in playing style, but in competitive nature. I liked challenging people and making them uncomfortable, Kobe wrote in his book. Thats what leads to introspection(反省) and thats what lead

However, while some seem to be lost in the desire to succeed, others have an opposite opinion. In a culture which values only

Among the most voices are youngsters who have suffered under competitive pressures from their parents or society. They have no choice. Teaching these young people, I often observe in them a desire to fail. Th
14、ey seem to seek failure by not trying to win or achieve success. By not trying, they always have an excuse: I may have lost, but it doesnt matter because I really didnt try. What is not usually admitted by themselves is the belief that if they really try and lose, that will mean a lot. Such a loss w
15、ould be a measure of their worth. Clearly, this belief is the same as that of the true competitors who try to prove themselves. Both are based on the mistaken belief that ones self-respect relies on how well one performs compared with others. Both are afraid of not being valued. Only as this basic a

We are certain that breakdancing, skateboarding, sport climbing and surfing will contribute to strengthening our project, Estanguet added. The organizers seek to deliver three key principles in hosting the Games: sustai
