ends.Theoveralldimensionsare:length50.436m;height6.112m;width5.3m.normaloperatinglevelof+300mmtodeaeratorhorizentalcenterline，thevesselweightis627tonnes,thedryweightis252.5tonnesandthefloodedweightis980Thevesselishorizontallymountedviaonefixedandfourrollingfeet.Internally,thevesselhassixanti-surgebaffleplates,oneimementplatefittedtotheinboardsideofeachoftheouterfeedwatersprays.Thebaffleplatesshallbeextendedtransverselyacrossthevessel,andareaslidingfittedbetweenpairsofgussetsweldedtothedeaerators.Threefunnelsareprovidedprojectingintothebaseofthevesselforthefeedpumpssuction.Three,forthemotordrivenpump(APA)areof650mmnominalsize.Weldedpartsintothethroatofeachfunnelarethreeanti-vortexplateswhicharearrangedinparallel.Flowbafflestoeithersideofthefunnelsarefitted.Theseextendtransverselyacrossthevesseltowhichtheyarewelded.Theplatesriseabovethefunnelsbyapproximay500mmandatthelowerthereisagaptofacilitatedrainage.Three500mminspectiondoorsarefitted,oneineacipticalendandoneontopofthes,andfacilitateaccesstothedeaeratorinterior.Thenumerousadditionalequipment,vesselpenetrationsandfeaturesaredescribedintheensuingsubsections.DeaeratorThefeedwaterentersthedeaeratorvia4piecediscsprayslocatedontopofthedeaerator.Aspraydevicecomprisesastackofstainlesssteeldiscswhich,theinfluenceofinternalwaterpressure,opentodischargecondensateinathinfiprayontoacircularsplashbaflewithinthestorage.Eachofthefoursprayshasanintegraldebrisstrainerandanaccesscovertofacilitatecleaninginspection.Eachspraycanachievetherequireddeaerationforflowratesfrom10%to110%ofitscapability.Therecirculationpump,whichislocatedonthedeaeratorfloorlevelatthesouthendofthedeaerator,recirculatesthecontentsofthedeaeratortoachievehighlevelsofdeaerationduringoff-loadheating.Thepumpenablesuniformheatinganddeaerationofthedeaeratorcontentsatstart-up,whentheauxiliaryrakeisbeingThepumpisprovidedwitha300mmsuctionconnectiononthedeaerators,locatedat ofthe remotefromthesinglesprayinserviceduringstart-up,ensuringumcirculationofthefeedwithinthe.Therecirculationpumpdischargesthrougha200mmpipeintothemaincondensatefeedlineatthedeaeratorinlet.PerformancecurvesfortherecirculationpumpareshownonTherearetotalof4dispensersfittedinternallytotheHPHeaterNo.6Aand6BDrainTherearetwoHPheaterdraindispersersmountingarrangementtoscenterline.Thedisperserspipesare500mmnominal.Thelowersectionofthepipesareeachdrilledwith1,680holesof12mmdiameter.STR ventAsingle20mmnominalpipeentersthedeaeratorbelowNWL.Theflowisviathedispersertothefeedwater.Thedisperserconsistsofacappedstubpipewhichisdrilledwith30holes5mmcondensatefromSTRcondensatecoolerAsingle80mmnominalpipeentersthedeaerators verticallyonthedeaeratorcentreline.Thedisperserisaweldedassembly.Thedisperserconsistsofacappedstubpipewhichisdrilledwith64holesof10mmdiameter.VentTherearesixteen50mmnominalstorageoperationvents,Theventscommoninto65mmpipeworkwhichfittedwithorificeplateandpasstothemaincondenser(duringnormaloperation).Andthereare2deaeratorstartupventlinescombinedandconnectedviaamotorizedisolatingvalvetoatmosphere(whilstoff-loadheatingisselected).Ventchangeoverisautomaticviasignalstomotorizedvalves032VVand033VVrespectively.The50mmnominalventerthetopoftheD/A.ThesefourlinesareventsfromtheHPheaters6A,6B,7Aand7B.LineDrainsTheconnectionsonthebled rakesarefittedwithinthedeaeratorvessel,twomainrakesandonesmallerauxiliaryrake.MainThetwomain rakesaresimilarindesignandconstructionandformamirrorimageaboutthedeaeratorverticalcenterlineasviewedinplanandfrontEachsetrakeisdviasingle750mmnominalpipeswhichpenetratethevesseltop.Insidethevessel,thepipesshallbedividedintotwoparallellongitudinallymountedmanifoldpipesof400mmnominaldiameter.Eachsidemanifoldpipeissupportedby7bracketswhichareweldedtothedeaerators.Fromthebaseofeachsidemanifoldpipeshallbeprojected40piece pipes,22inboardand18outboardofthe inlet.Eachpipeisangledinwardtowardstheoppositemanifolddownpipetowhichitisrigidlyfixed.Tiebarsarealsofittedlongitudinallybetweenalternate rakepipes.Therakepipesare2,894mmlong,80mmnominaldiameter,andarecappedattheirlowerends.Thebottom284mmoftherakepipe,whichiscontinuouslybelowLLWL,isdrilledwith104holesof7mmdiameter.One7mmdiameterholeisdrilledineachendcaptofacilitatedrainage.AuxiliaryTheauxiliary rakeissimilardesignandconstructionasthemainTherakeisdviaa400mmnominalpipewhichpenetratesthedeaeratorvesseltopmarginallyoffcentre.Insidethevesselthepipeshallbedividedintotwoparallellongitudinallymountedmanifoldpipesof200mmnominaldiameter.Eachsidemanifoldpipeissupportedby4bracketswhichareweldedtothedeaerators.Fromthebaseofeachsidemanifoldpipeshallbeprojected6 rakepipes,3inboardand3outboardofthe inlet.Eachpipeisangledinwardtowardstheoppositemanifolddownpipetowhichitisrigidlyfixed.Tiebarsarealsofittedlongitudinallybetweenalternate
