名詞所有格名詞所有格它主要包括's所有格、of所有格和雙重所有格三種表現(xiàn)形式。's所有格的用法表示有生命的東西的名詞末尾加's。例如：Jim'sbed,theman'swife,children'stoys,thefox'stail以-es或-s結(jié)尾的名詞末尾加"'s"。例如：thestudents'books,Teachers'Day,myboss'office,agirls'dormitory有些表示時間、距離、度量衡、價值、自然現(xiàn)象、國家、城鎮(zhèn)等無生命東西的名詞，也可以加's構(gòu)成所有格。例如：today'snewspaper，fiveminutes'walk，表示兩者共同擁有的人或物（共有）時，只需要后一個名詞加's（或'）即可。如果表示兩者各自的所屬關(guān)系（各自所有），則每個名詞詞尾都加上's（或'）。例如：JoanandJane'sroom（房間屬二人共同所有）Joan'sandJane'sroom（指Joan和Jane各自的房間）anhourandahalf’swalk（步行一個半小時的路程）'s所有格所修飾的詞的省略現(xiàn)象（1）表示診所、店鋪或某人的家等地點名詞，其名詞所有格后的被修飾語常常省略。例如：

Imetheratthedoctor's（office）．我在診所遇見了她。

Hehasgonetothetailor's（shop）．他到服裝店去了。

ShewenttoMr．Black's（house）yesterday．她昨天到布萊克先生家去了。（2）名詞所有格所修飾的詞，如果前面已經(jīng)提到過，往往可以省略，以免重復(fù)。例如：
