1.以上所有例句皆為主從復合句,句中用了相當于名詞作用的從句(即名詞性從句)在句中充當成分。

2.例句1為what引導的主語從句。例句2中it為形式主語,真正的主語為后面that引導的主語從句。

3.例句3為why引導的表語從句。

4.例句4為that引導的賓語從句。例句5中it為形式賓語,真正的賓語為后面that引導的賓語從句。

名詞性從句是在句子中起名詞作用的句子。名詞性從句的功能相當于名詞詞組,它在復合句中能擔任

主語、賓語、表語、同位語等,因此根據它在句中不同的語法功能,名詞性從句又可分別稱為主語從句、

賓語從句、表語從句和同位語從句。

一、名詞性從句的連接詞

引導名詞性從句的連接詞有三個連詞、五個連接代詞、四個連接副詞。

二、主語從句

主語從句是指在句中作主語的從句,位置與陳述句的主語相同。

我們不滿意的是飯菜的價格稍微有點高。

Howthebookwillselldependsonitsauthor.

這本書如何銷售取決于作者本人。

1.that引導主語從句,在從句中不充當任何成分,僅起連接作用,但不可省略。

Thatyouwillwinthemedalseemsunlikely.

你想獲得獎牌看起來是不可能的。

2.whether引導的主語從句既可放在句首也可放在句尾,但if引導的主語從句只能放在句尾,前面需

要用it作形式主語。

Whetherthesportsmeetingwillbeheldisnotcertainnow.

運動會是否將舉行現(xiàn)在不能確定。

Whethertheworkcanbecompletedontimeisdoubtful.

3.若主語部分結構較長,可以使用形式主語it,把真正的主語從句放于后面。

三、賓語從句

在主從復合句中作賓語的從句叫賓語從句。賓語從句在句中可以作及物動詞、介詞或一些形容詞的賓

語。

Everyoneknowsthattheearthismadeupofmatter.

每個人都知道地球是由物質構成的。

Idoubtwhetherhewillbeelectedaschairman.

我懷疑他是否會當選為主席。

Thesetwoareasaresimilarinthattheybothhavehighrainfallinsummer.

這兩個地區(qū)相似,因為在夏天降水都很多。

我不確信火車是否將會按時到達。

Lthat引導賓語從句,既無語法功能,也無詞匯意義,常被省略。但多個并列從句出現(xiàn)時,第一個that

可以省略,其他的不能省略。

Shesaid(that)shewouldcomehereandthatIshouldwaitforhertillMonday.

她說她將會來這兒并讓我等到星期一。

2.if和whether引導賓語從句的區(qū)別:

①在動詞不定式之前只能用whethero

②在whether...ornot的固定搭配中,只用whether0

③在介詞后,只能用whethero

④作discuss的賓語時,只能用whethero

⑤賓語從句放在句首表示強調時,只能用whethero

3.帶復合賓語(賓語+賓語補足語)的句子,that引導的賓語從句經常移到句子后面,而用it作形式賓

語。

4.表示喜歡、憎惡等心理活動的動詞后習慣上先加個形式賓語it,再接賓語從句。例如:hate,dislike,

love,don'tmind,feellike,appreciate,relyon,counton,seeto等。

5.賓語從句的否定轉移:think,believe,suppose,imagine等動詞后的賓語從句中的否定詞要轉移到

主句中,即主句的謂語動詞用否定式,而從句的謂語動詞用肯定式。

我想我們不必在這上面浪費太多時間。(形式上否定)

四、表語從句

表語從句在復合句中作表語,出現(xiàn)在連系動詞之后,一般結構為“主語+連系動詞+表語從句”??山颖?/p>

語從句的連系動詞有be,look,remain,seem等。

問題在于我們是否能及時完成這項工作。

2.whether可引導表語從句,但if卻通常不用于引導表語從句。

五、同位語從句

在復合句中用作同位語的從句叫同位語從句。它一般跟在某個名詞后面,用來說明前面名詞的具體內

容。常見的這類名詞有:fact,news,hope,truth,idea,suggestion,thought,question,promise,order,

problem,belief,word,message,information,proof,announcement,desire,doubt,proposal,advice,possibility

等。

他被北京大學錄取了的消息真是令人激動。

一、主語從句

在復合句中充當主句主語的從句叫作主語從句。主語從句的常見引導詞有:

(1)從屬連詞:that,whether,if

(2)連接代詞:what,which,who,whose,whom,whatever,whichever,whoever,whomever

(3)連接副詞:how,when,where,why,however,whenever,wherever

特別提醒:

在通常情況下,that引導主語從句時,常用it作形式主語,而將that從句置于句尾。用it作形式主語通常有

以下四種句型:

⑴It+be+形容詞+從句:

Itisimportantthat...重要的是...

Itisobviousthat...很明顯...

(2)It+be+過去分詞+從句:

二.同位語從句

同位語從句一般用that引導,但根據語境的不同,也可以用其他的連接代詞和連接副詞。引導同位語從句的that

不能省略。跟在抽象有內涵名詞fact,idea,news,hope,belief,thought,truth,doubt,suggestion,warning,

instruction,reason,information,question等之后。有時從句會與被說明的名詞隔開。

連詞whether和if在名詞性從句中的使用

1.用whether或if均可的情況

⑴whether可引導各種名詞性從句。引導大部分動詞后的賓語從句時,兩者均可。

(2)it作形式主語,且主語從句在句末時,兩者均可引導主語從句。

2.用whether而不用if的情況

(1)主語從句和賓語從句置于句首

三.賓語從句

1)可作動詞、介詞和形容詞賓語

2)it作形式賓語

make/find/consider/think/feel...it+adj+從句;seetoitthat,takeitforgrantedthat...

3)賓語從句中的虛擬

在動詞“-1堅持二命令四建議五要求“:insist,order,command,suggest,advise,propose,recommend,ask,

require,desire,demand,request等詞后的賓語從句中,不論主句謂語動詞用何時態(tài),賓語從句中的動詞一律

用“(should)+動詞原形

特別提醒

賓語從句的時態(tài)。一般情況下,賓語從句須與主句的時態(tài)保持一致,即當主句是一般現(xiàn)在時時,從句可根

據具體情況選用合適的時態(tài);當主句為過去的某種時態(tài)時,從句須用相應的過去的某種時態(tài)。當從句的內

容為真理或客觀事實時,須用一般現(xiàn)在時。

四.表語從句

在復合句中充當表語的從句叫作表語從句,可接表語從句的連系動詞有be,seem,look,sound,taste,feel,

remain,appear等。表語從句的常見引導詞有:

(1)從屬連詞:that,whether

(2)連接代詞:what,which,who,whose,whom,whatever,whichever,whoever,whomever

(3)連接副詞:how,when,where,why

特別提醒

幾種特殊的表語從句

(1)asif/though引導的表語從句

此類表語從句常出現(xiàn)在seem,look,sound,taste,feel,appear等連系動詞后,從句可用陳述語氣,也可用虛擬

語氣。

⑵because和why引導的表語從句

此類表語從句常用于以下句型:

this/thatiswhy...這/那是...的原因

this/thatisbecause...這/那是因為...

注意:主句主語是reason時,表語從句一般由that引導,而不用because或why。

Theaccidentthathappenedyesterdaywasbecausethedriverhadbeendrunk.

Thereasonforyesterday'saccidentisthatthedriverwasdrunk.

[難點一]連接詞

當名詞性從句主干齊全,又不缺少狀語時,用連接詞引導。連接詞有that,whether和if。

l.that引導的名詞性從句that連接名詞性從句,只起連接作用,不在從句中作成分。引導賓語從句時有時可

以省略,引導主語從句,表語從句和同位語從句時不能省略。

2.whether與if引導的名詞性從句

(l)whether引導的主語從句既可放在句首也可放在句末,但if引導的主語從句只能放在句末,且前面需用it

作形式主語。

Itisunknownifhewillattendthemeeting.他是否會來參加會議還不清楚。

(2)whether與if引導賓語從句時,大多數(shù)情況下可以互換,后面直接跟ornot時用whether用于介詞后引導

賓語從句時也用whethero

(3)whether可引導表語從句和同位語從句,而if則不可以。

1.連接代詞引導的名詞性從句

連接代詞who,whom,whose,what,which等不但起連接作用,也在從句中作名詞或代詞所作的成分,如主語、

表語、賓語、定語等。缺少連接代詞,從句不完整。

2.連接副詞引導的名詞性從句

連接副詞when,where,why,how等不但起連接作用,也在從句中作狀語,表示時間、地點、原因和方式等。

Goandgetyourcoat.Itswhereyouleftit.去把你的大衣拿來。就在你原來放的地方。

3.“疑問詞+-ever”引導的名詞性從句

“疑問詞+-ever”引導名詞性從句時,有詞意,并且在從句中充當一定的句子成分。
