2、 掌握本課時(shí)出現(xiàn)的生詞及表達(dá)方式。2) 進(jìn)行聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練,提高綜合聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力。3)閱讀短文,獲得相關(guān)信息,提高學(xué)生們的綜合閱讀能力。2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn)1. 聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練2. 閱讀2b部分的短文并完成相關(guān)要求。三、教學(xué)過(guò)程. Warming- up and revision1. Daily greeting. 2. Check the homework. Let some Ss report what he/she does on weekends. . Presentation1. T: Show some pictures of food or drink on the big screen. Ss re

3、ad the words then discuss they are healthy or unhealthy. 2. Work on 1a. Read the words with the pictures then match the words with the pictures. . Find 1. Show a list of words of food and drinks on the big screen. Then list them into “healthy” or “unhealthy” 2. Check the answer with the Ss. 3. Ask a

4、nd answer questions about the pictures on 1a. Make a model to the Ss: T: How often do you drink milk, S1? S1: I drink milk every day. T: Do you like it? S1: No, but my mother wants me to drink it. She says its good for my health. be good for 對(duì)有好處e.g. Milk is good for our health. 牛奶對(duì)我們的健康有好處。 be bad

5、for 對(duì)有壞處e.g. Hot dog is bad for our health. 熱狗對(duì)我們的健康有壞處。 2. want sb. to do sth.want sb. to do sth. 意為“想讓某人做某事”。如: He wants you to see him at the station.【鏈接】want后面可接名詞(短語(yǔ))、代詞或動(dòng)詞不定式(短語(yǔ))。如:Tina wants a black schoolbag.I want to buy a new bike. Work on 1c, 1d1. Tell Ss that a reporter is interviewing B

6、ill and Tina what their eating habits are. Listen to the recording and find the answer to these two questions: Is Bill healthy? Is Tina healthy? Listen and find the answers to the questions. 3. T: Now lets work on 1d. First, let one student read the sentences and try to know the meaning of the sente

7、nces. 4. Play the first time, Ss just listen. Play the tape for the second time for the Ss to listen and find the answers. 5. We found that only fifteen percent of our students exercise every day. percent 名詞,意為“百分之” e.g. Eighty percent of the students in our class exercise every day. 我們班里80%的學(xué)生每天都鍛煉?!咀⒁狻縫ercent做主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的數(shù)要根據(jù)其后面的名詞來(lái)確定。e.g. Fifty percent of the apples are bad. 50%的蘋(píng)果都?jí)牧恕?Twenty percent of

14、 the meat is in the fridge. 20%的肉都在冰箱。2. And twenty percent do not exercise at all! not at all意為“一點(diǎn)也不”,not應(yīng)和be動(dòng)詞、助動(dòng)詞或情態(tài)動(dòng)詞連用。 e.g. The story isnt interesting at all. 那個(gè)故事一點(diǎn)也沒(méi)有趣。 They didnt enjoy the vacation at all. 他們根本不喜歡那次度假。 The old man cant use the computer at all. 那位老人一點(diǎn)也不會(huì)用電腦。3. Although many

15、students like to watch sports, game shows are the most popular. although 連詞,“盡管,雖然;即使” e.g. We went fishing although it was cold. 盡管天氣很冷,但是我們還是去釣魚(yú)了。注意:although引導(dǎo)的從句不能與but連用,有although就沒(méi)有but,反之亦然。e.g. 盡管他離家很早,但是他還是遲到了。Although he left home early, but he was late. ()Although he left home early, he was

()4. the best way to relax is through exercise. through 介詞,課文中意為“以,憑借” e.g. He found the job through an advertisement in the newspaper. 他通過(guò)報(bào)紙上的一個(gè)廣告找到這份工作。拓展 through還有“穿過(guò)”之意。表示“從內(nèi)部穿過(guò)”。e.g. They went through the forest yesterday. 昨天他們穿過(guò)了森林。5. Exercise such as playing sports is fun such as意為“像這樣”

17、,表示列舉。 結(jié)構(gòu)常為:名詞+such as+ 例子 e.g. She likes animals such as rabbits and birds. 她喜歡像兔子、小鳥(niǎo)這樣的小動(dòng)物。注意:其后面不可列舉出所有的事物。如:我了解四種語(yǔ)言,例如英語(yǔ)、漢語(yǔ)。I know four languages, such as, English and Chinese. ()I know four languages, such as, English, French, Japanese and Chinese. () 6. Old habits die hard. 舊習(xí)難改。 這是英語(yǔ)中的一句諺語(yǔ),表示

18、習(xí)慣一旦養(yǎng)成,并非朝夕即可改變,多用來(lái) 描述人們一時(shí)難以改變的固有觀念及做法。e.g. Its the age of new technology, but my grandpa still goes everywhere with his old radio. Old habits die hard, you see. 現(xiàn)在都已經(jīng)是新技術(shù)時(shí)代了,可我爺爺仍然到哪兒都帶著他的收音機(jī)。你瞧,老習(xí)慣可真難改呀。7. So start exercising before its too late! its too late 為時(shí)太晚;來(lái)不及了 e.g. Now you know youre wrong, but its too late. 現(xiàn)在你知道你錯(cuò)了,但是已經(jīng)太晚了。 its too late與before共同組成從句,表示“不要等到為時(shí)已晚;不要等到來(lái)不及的時(shí)候;趁著還來(lái)得及 ”。e.g. You should work harder before its too late to catch up. 你應(yīng)當(dāng)更加用功,別等到為時(shí)過(guò)晚而趕不上了。(你現(xiàn)在用功還趕得上。)Work on 2e:1.
