4、指意義的行為,謂語動詞要用第三人稱,單數(shù)。如:,Seeing is believing.眼見為實(shí)。,His being late made the teacher angry. 他的遲到讓老師很不高興。,2作賓語。,(1) 作動詞的賓語。常見的動詞有:advise, allow, permit,avoid, consider, enjoy, finish, imagine, include, keep, mind, miss,delay, practise, resist, suggest 等。如:,Would you mind switching the television to Chan

5、nel 8? 請把電視轉(zhuǎn)到八頻道好嗎? (2)作介詞的賓語。如:,We are thinking of making a new plan for the next term. 我們,正考慮為下學(xué)期制定一個(gè)新的計(jì)劃。,二、現(xiàn)在分詞的基本形式,三、現(xiàn)在分詞在句中的作用,1作定語。既可表示動作正在進(jìn)行,又可表示所修飾名詞 的性質(zhì)或用途。當(dāng)單個(gè)分詞做定語時(shí),放在所修飾的名詞之前; 當(dāng)分詞短語做定語時(shí)則放在名詞之后,相當(dāng)于一個(gè)定語從句。 如:,The sleeping bag is over there.睡袋在那兒。,The man speaking to the teacher is my fath

6、er.(The man who,is speaking to the teacher is my father.) 正與老師談話的那個(gè)人是我的父親。,2作表語。說明主語的性質(zhì)或狀況。如:,The film being shown in the cinema is exciting. 正在電影院上演的電影很棒。,3作狀語?,F(xiàn)在分詞作狀語時(shí),用來修飾謂語動詞或整個(gè) 句子,表示動作發(fā)生的時(shí)間、原因、條件、結(jié)果、讓步或伴隨 等情況?,F(xiàn)在分詞短語作狀語一般表示一個(gè)次要的動作,通常 都可以變?yōu)橄鄳?yīng)的從句或并列句。,(1)作時(shí)間狀語,置于句首,且與后面用逗號隔開。如:,Working in the fact

7、ory, he was an advanced worker. 在工廠工作時(shí),他是一名先進(jìn)工人。,(2)作原因狀語,置于句首,后面用逗號隔開。如:,Being ill, she stayed at home. 由于生病了,她待在家里。,(3)作伴隨狀語,常置于句末。如:,He came into the classroom, taking a lot of books. 他拿了很多書走進(jìn)教室。,(4)作條件狀語,常置于句首。如:,Working hard, youll succeed. 如果你勤奮一點(diǎn),就會成功。 (5)作結(jié)果狀語,置于句末。如:,Thy boy ran ever faster

8、, reaching the school out of breath. 那,男孩跑得更快了,到達(dá)學(xué)校時(shí)累得上氣不接下氣。,(6)作讓步狀語,常置于句首。如:,Though raining heavily, it cleared up very soon. 雖然雨下得很大,但不久天就晴了。,4作賓語補(bǔ)足語?,F(xiàn)在分詞作賓補(bǔ)常放在賓語后面,表示 一個(gè)正在進(jìn)行的主動性動作,強(qiáng)調(diào)一個(gè)進(jìn)程或一種狀態(tài)??山?現(xiàn)在分詞作賓補(bǔ)的常見動詞有:get, watch, have, keep, notice, find, feel, hear, observe, leave, smell 等。如:,When we g
