Tom is more athletic than Sam.情感態(tài)度目標(biāo):培養(yǎng)學(xué)生客觀認(rèn)識(shí)自己,正確評(píng)價(jià)他人,尊重個(gè)體差異性的品質(zhì)。II. 教材分析 本教材采取循環(huán)滾動(dòng)的內(nèi)容安排體系。本單元出現(xiàn)的語言材料如人物的外貌特征、性格特征在初一下冊(cè)都有重點(diǎn)展現(xiàn)。語言結(jié)構(gòu)形容詞的比較級(jí)也沉浸在小學(xué)英語教材以及初一的教學(xué)內(nèi)容中。本單元通過Personal traits這一話題既再現(xiàn)了已有語言項(xiàng)目,又把形容詞比較級(jí)這一結(jié)構(gòu)規(guī)范化,并對(duì)己有語言項(xiàng)目進(jìn)行拓展,學(xué)生通過討論選擇何種個(gè)性朋友,提高認(rèn)知
4、、思維能力。III. 學(xué)生狀況分析 初二的不分層班級(jí)學(xué)生英語水平參差不齊,部分學(xué)生具備較強(qiáng)的聽說能力,企求在課堂上有更多的語言輸入和輸出。而部分學(xué)生基礎(chǔ)較差,沒有信心開口講,難以調(diào)動(dòng)其學(xué)習(xí)熱情。所以針對(duì)這種不同的學(xué)習(xí)需求,教師在設(shè)計(jì)課堂教學(xué)任務(wù)時(shí)必須注重基本核心語言材料并作適當(dāng)拓展。Period 1第一課時(shí)全面展示本單元語言材料。通過幾對(duì)雙胞胎特征的比較展示本單元話題:I am more outgoing than my sister. 聽力材料提供學(xué)生規(guī)范的進(jìn)行比較運(yùn)用的句型結(jié)構(gòu): more than -er/ier than 教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì):1)通過心理調(diào)查表格分析自己的心理特征。調(diào)動(dòng)各個(gè)層次學(xué)
5、生的學(xué)習(xí)參與課堂教學(xué)活動(dòng),并復(fù)習(xí)舊知,增加語言輸入。2)通過展示雙胞胎的照片討論其相似之處。所展示的照片是受學(xué)生歡迎的外教和他雙胞胎哥哥。談?wù)撍麄兩钪械娜宋锬芗て饘W(xué)生興趣,且學(xué)生都具備談?wù)撏獠刻卣鞯幕驹~匯,展示并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生運(yùn)用both , as as, the same as 3)學(xué)生復(fù)述其不同點(diǎn)進(jìn)行語言材料的內(nèi)化。4)兩人小組活動(dòng),通過自己與對(duì)方的心理調(diào)查表結(jié)果的對(duì)比進(jìn)一步訓(xùn)練本單元核心材料:比較雙方的個(gè)性差異。5)小組活動(dòng)。結(jié)合本學(xué)期將舉辦的英語節(jié)和本月指定閱讀篇目The Adventures of Tom Sawyer , 設(shè)計(jì)如下活動(dòng): 計(jì)劃在英語節(jié)上演The Adventures
6、of Tom Sawyer, 請(qǐng)?jiān)谀阈〗M內(nèi)推薦一位飾演Tom Sawyer的人選。本活動(dòng)調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生進(jìn)行個(gè)性分析,并比較本小組內(nèi)各成員的個(gè)性。使語言材料豐富,給學(xué)生留下較廣的拓展空間。. Teaching procedures1. Use the pictures to show the opposite of some adjectives, such as long short,
8、 straight-curly, calm-wild . Students read and recite the adjectives.3Presentationa) CAI show photos of the foreign teacher Jonathan and his twin brother David . Students describe their appearance. Teacher point out some of the similarities , saying: They both have brown hair. / They are both tall a
9、nd thin. / They are wearing the same wig. /Jonathan is as old as David.Encourage students to find more similarities. b) Listening Ask: Are twins always the same ?Students listen to Jonathans talk about the differences and take notes. Write the differences in the chart. CAI show the chart. Then stude
10、nts look at the chart and talk about the similarities and the differences between Jonathan and David.Pay attention to the comparative form of adjectives. Get students to command the structure er/ier than or more than c) Classify the adjectives into two groups according to their different comparative
