1、Unit 8 Turn right at the second turning.一、單元內(nèi)容分析本單元的教學(xué)重點是掌握關(guān)于指引方向與位置的詞匯與短語。能夠聽懂談及問路與指路相關(guān)話題的對話;正確并熟練運(yùn)用英語問路與指路的相關(guān)表達(dá)與句型;能讀懂簡單的表述位置信息的短文。本單元通過復(fù)習(xí)指路的短語,引出問路與指路這個話題,與學(xué)生的生活聯(lián)系緊密。就這些短語而言,學(xué)生在以前的學(xué)習(xí)中也有所接觸。本單元需識記的短語較多,針對學(xué)生的實際情況,教師應(yīng)該通過合理的設(shè)計,幫助學(xué)生有效地完成聽、說、讀、寫四個任務(wù),為后面的練習(xí)以及語言的輸出做好充足的準(zhǔn)備。在教學(xué)過程中教師可充分利用問路與指路等相關(guān)活動, 讓學(xué)生在個體或
2、集體活動中充分練習(xí)問路與指路的相關(guān)句型。并在此基礎(chǔ)上培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的生活習(xí)慣和學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣,幫助他們更合理高效地完成日常生活中的一些事情。本單元設(shè)計成四個課時:第一課時Lead-in + Listening and speaking第二課時Reading and writing第三課時Grammar focus (Imperatives)第四課時Vocabulary practice + Supplementary Reading二、分課時教學(xué)設(shè)計第一課時Lead-in + Listening and speaking一、教材分析1. 教學(xué)內(nèi)容本課時系教材英語基礎(chǔ)教程( 1) 第八單元的第一課時,包
3、括 Lead-in & Listening andspeaking 兩部分,具體內(nèi)容為:復(fù)習(xí)指引方向與位置的詞匯與短語,聽懂并掌握問路與指路 的簡單對話,能準(zhǔn)確地表達(dá)相應(yīng)位置并根據(jù)交通方式確定達(dá)到時間。2. 教學(xué)重點、難點( 1)教學(xué)重點復(fù)習(xí)指引方向與位置的詞匯與短語;聽懂問路與指路的句型;聽懂問路與指路的簡單對話,準(zhǔn)確地表達(dá)相應(yīng)位置并根據(jù)到達(dá)方式確定所花費(fèi)的時間。( 2)教學(xué)難點進(jìn)行問路與指路的簡單對話,準(zhǔn)確指引或表達(dá)位置。二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)1. 知識目標(biāo) ( 1)學(xué)習(xí)并識記指引方向及位置的詞匯與短語,如: turn right/left (at ) gostraight/along go

5、an also take No. is in front of , right over there.on yourbus.2. 能力目標(biāo)( 1)能聽懂關(guān)于問路與指路的對話。( 2)能準(zhǔn)確地表達(dá)相應(yīng)位置并根據(jù)到達(dá)方式確定所需時間。( 3)能記住指引方向及位置的相關(guān)詞匯與短語,并熟練運(yùn)用于問路與指路的句型中。3. 情感目標(biāo)( 1)讓學(xué)生了解問路及指路的方法,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生樂于助人的良好品質(zhì)。( 2)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生形成良好的英語學(xué)習(xí)策略,提高他們對英語學(xué)習(xí)的興趣。三、教學(xué)步驟Step One Lead-in1. Ask Ss to read the title of this unit and guess w
6、hat will be learned in this unit. Elicit the topic of this unit to the Ss.(設(shè)計意圖:通過本單元的題目引入本單元的話題,讓學(xué)生了解本單元所涉及的內(nèi)容。)2. Activity 1 . Look and match.1) Show the pictures in Activity 1 on PPT (without the phrases outside the diamond lattices).Ask students to tell the directions according to the arrows. Th
7、en give the phrases about the directions of the arrows according to what Ss talk about. Write the key words and phrases and ask students read aloud if necessary. Show the key words and phrases of directions by drawing arrows on a map and show the traffic points or places by circling the points on th

13、nd speaking1. Activity 3. Listen and circle. Play the audio of Dialogue 1. Ss listen to the dialogue 1 and circle the pictures in Activity 3. Check the answer with the typescripts by asking Ss.(設(shè)計意圖:先就對話內(nèi)容有一整體印象,然后再聽對話,了解大意,為理解對話內(nèi)容做 相應(yīng)準(zhǔn)備。)2. Activity 4. Listen and choose.1) Ask Ss to read Activity 4
14、. Remind Ss to pay attention to the location of the supermarket and the way the man will take to the supermarket. Then play the audio once more and ask Ss to do Activity 4. Check the answer, play again if necessary.(設(shè)計意圖:進(jìn)一步聽懂對話部分細(xì)節(jié),了解對話內(nèi)容,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生聽細(xì)節(jié)的聽力技巧。)2) Ss read the similar dialogue (Dialogue 2) i
15、n Activity 6. Play the audio once more and ask Ss to compare the difference. Ss underline the differences and fill in the blanks according to the audio. Check the answer with Ss as the following form by filling in the blanks:Dialogue 1 (Activity 3-5)Dialogue 2 (Activity 6)1. I'd like to buy some

Ask Ss to read after the audio sentence by sentence and pay attention to imitate the tone of the audio. (Or read after the teacher if necessary.) Then Ss read altogether by themselves.(設(shè)計意圖:通過逐句跟讀與集體朗讀,訓(xùn)練學(xué)

Ask Ss to find more places in the map of the school to practise asking and directing the way, use the patterns and phrases in this unit as much as possible. Show the sentence patterns a

Mark these famous places with stars.2) Make dialogue with their partner about a foreigner asking the way to the famous places.3) Try
24、to perform the dialogue in pairs on asking and giving directions, use the vocabulary and sentence patterns in this period as possible as they can.
