2.過去分詞作表語(1)過去分詞作表語時,通常表示主語的特點或所處的狀態(tài)。(2)有些動詞,如interest、bore、worry、surprise、frighten等通常用其過去分詞形式來修飾人,用其現(xiàn)在分詞形式來修飾物。Thestoreisnowclosed.商店現(xiàn)在關(guān)門了。ThebookisinterestingandI’minterestedinit.這本書很有趣,我對它很感興趣。

3.過去分詞作狀語(1)過去分詞作狀語時,其邏輯主語通常為句子的主語,表示的動作與其邏輯主語之間是被動關(guān)系。一般用逗號與句子其他部分隔開。(2)根據(jù)需要,過去分詞前可加上when、while、until、once、though、aslongas、unless、as

if、evenif等詞。(3)過去分詞作狀語時的位置:句前和句后都可。Writteninahurry,thisarticlewasnotsogood.因為寫得匆忙,所以這篇文章不是很好。When

givenamedicalexamination,youshouldkeepcalm.當(dāng)你做體檢時應(yīng)保持鎮(zhèn)定。注意:如果過去分詞作狀語時,前面再加上其邏輯主語,句子的主語就不再是過去分詞的邏輯主語,這種帶邏輯主語的過去分詞結(jié)構(gòu)實際上屬于獨立主格結(jié)構(gòu)。Thesignalgiven,thebusstarted.信號一發(fā)出,公共汽車就開動了。

4.過去分詞作賓語補足語過去分詞作賓語補足語,說明賓語的狀態(tài)或性質(zhì),賓語是其邏輯主語,一般是過去分詞動作的承受者,即邏輯上的被動關(guān)系。而從時間角度考慮,過去分詞通常表示動作已經(jīng)完成。作賓語補足語的過去分詞大多數(shù)來自及物動詞,強調(diào)被動或完成。但也有少數(shù)來自不及物動詞,強調(diào)動作完成后的狀態(tài)。(1)感官動詞see、notice、watch、hear、feel、find等后通常接動詞的過去分詞作賓語補足語。Isawhiseyesfixedonmewithcuriosity.

(3)在表示希望和要求的動詞(如wish、want、like、order等)后,常使用動詞的過去分詞作賓語補足語。Theywantedtheirbuildingsconstructedinawaytolookunusual.他們希望他們的大樓用一種看起來與眾不同的方式建造。(4)“with+賓語+過去分詞”結(jié)構(gòu):過去分詞用作介詞with的賓語補足語。這一結(jié)構(gòu)通常在句
